I used to watch this show all the time when I was a kid. WGN was awesome - Bozo, S and E, Saturday afternoon monster/sci-fi movies...and of course, the Empire carpet guy.
Apparently, Siskel and Ebert weren't very close. Watch this, and you'll see why. Very funny.
