Former Vice President Dick Cheney has been hospitalized with chest pains, Fox News confirms.

The 69-year-old Republican, who served as Vice President from 2001 to 2009 in the administration of George W. Bush, was said to be resting comfortably Monday at George Washington Hospital, Washington D.C.

"His doctors are evaluating the situation," a statement from his office said.

Cheney has a history of cardiovascular problems. He suffered his first heart attack 32 years ago at the age of 37. Since then, he has suffered four heart attacks.

As a result of earlier scares related to his heart condition, Cheney has stated numerous times that he goes to the hospital at the first sign of discomfort as a precautionary measure.

In 2001, doctors gave Cheney an implanted cardioverter defibrillator, a device that controls an irregular heartbeat.

In 2008, doctors restored a normal rhythm to his heart with an electric shock. It was the second time in less than a year that Cheney had experienced and been treated for an atrial fibrillation, an abnormal rhythm involving the upper chambers of the heart. He had previously had two quadruple bypass surgeries and two artery-cleaning angioplasties.

Does he have grandkids? I'm sure Dick isn't afraid of death so much. But I hope the young ones get to spend as much time as possible with grandpa before he goes. That's a big regret I have with mine. Regardless of how other adults felt about them, they were just grandma & grandpa to me.

Hitler was a fascist even though he led the National Socialist Party. Socialism is where the population pays into a pool and the government distributes goods and services like education, health care, dental care, housing, ect... Fascism is when corporations and government become one monopoly and is usually ran by a dictator.

I don't think anyone knows what or who Obama is. I don't even think he knows who or what he is. Basically, he's a guy who will say anything to get elected and get perks. He's well educated and comes across as intelligent but I think who's really running the show is Timothy Gietner, Ben Bernanke, and Larry Summers. Bill fucked the United States up the ass by deregulating the banks. It was during his term where the banking fiasco we are now in started. The Golden Age of the United States ended in 1971 under Nixon. 1945-1971 was a great economic time for the US and the banks were highly regulated then.
