My boss's Mom died last night. We are not what I would call "close friends", but I like him a lot, he is a REALLY cool guy, and I would say we definitely are 'friends', and not just boss/employee.
So I called my Mom this morning and told her I loved her.
You never know when you will wake up someday to find they did not. :(
