I want to work. I want that J-O-B!

So.. how about deporting all 12 million illegal aliens now, so that our citizens like me who want work, can compete fairly for that position?

Lets get the word out, enough is enough. DEPORT them. They're breaking of Federal laws shouldn't mean you can't pay your bills...

The illegal aliens ain't the problem anymore, GAyR.

When CHIMP tanked the economy, most of them went home, aside from the areas where they have steady farm employment maybe.

It's the corporations hiring the LEGAL aliens that are the bigger problem right now. As in that H1B visa bullshit. If you can't outsource a job to India, just insource some Indians to work here, and pay them slightly more than you would if they were in Mumbai.

Illegal aliens taking jobs is not the problem. The percentage of illegal immigrants actually working is low. Many of them do not work, and the ones that do aren't really taking jobs from people. A large percentage are criminals. We waste far too much money dealing with these criminals and the government benefits so many of them take advantage of. Health care and prison being a big chunk.

Start by deporting any illegal we find that has any type of criminal offense or is not working. If they are not contributing, they are first to go. The honest people (oxymoron since they are already here illegally) should have some way of staying temporarily while citizenship requests or work visa requests are reviewed. But with no guarantee they get to stay. Sneaking into the country should not be rewarded by expedited processes.

The only problem with deporting people is they can waltz right back in. We even put water & rest stations in the desert to assist them. That's kind of like putting food out for the rats in the attic so they have something to eat until you can eventually catch them.

Far too much tax money is spent on illegal aliens. Far too many crimes are caused by illegal aliens. A disproportionate amount compared to any other group in fact.

This is interesting to watch as well. It does not mention "illegal" once. A new way to look at some of our problems.

I didn't watch the clips, so am not taking a stand on them - but we were not allowed to use the term "illegal aliens" when writing news copy. The illegal part was not disputed - it was the "alien" part. We had to use "illegal immigrants."

Interesting. I can see how people would prefer to be categorized as immigrant rather than alien. Although immigrant sounds as if you're staying put (already migrated), alien sounds more temporary. But the term "illegal" seems to be a hot button word as well. Not surprising that your guidelines were what they were. We've become a society where all we do is worry about not offending anyone.

As far as the videos I posted, just shows some numbers in ways that people can visualize easier. Talks about all immigration and population growth in general. Doesn't split it between legal or illegal.

The only problem with deporting people is they can waltz right back in.

so when we return these people to Mexico, we should drop them at Mexico's southern border. it'll take 'em a while to find their way back. :D

The good thing about all of the Illegal Mexican workers is they work providing a service to Americans, and then send most of that money back to thier families in Mexico who need the cash.

That is great and the best part is they all do such crappy, horrible, substandard work, all the work they do needs to be fixed, corrected and made sound by American workers.

It's a Win Win!!!

Nothing better than last nights dishwasher planting the trees in your yard and then tomorrow wiring the electrical smoke alarms in juniors room.
