A very faggoty pop "rock" band from Scotland. Ok, I know we all hate this song, AND LOOK AT THEIR SATIN WOMEN'S UNDERWEAR SHIRTS, but who here hasn't gobbled a bird in a bad disco being utterly drunk during the hot moment with her, and hearing this song at the same time?

HAHAHA this singer got a heroin addiction at some point

God damn that's horrible. REM did a much better cover. And despite Michael Stipe's sexual orientation, it sounded a hell of a lot less GAY than that!

The singer Marti Pellow was a notorious prick, a complete asshole, a prize winning cunt.

I knew their original bass player. When Pellow joined the band he said 'Guys either you get rid of that twat or I'm leaving.'

Not a great career move but Pellow was such a dick i don't think he regretted it.

Husker Du did the best version. And Sonny Curtis (the song's writer) is a legend, as he also wrote "I Fought The Law".

Different song entirely. That's the Mary Tyler Moore theme song. Though it was a great cover.

Oh, is it the Troggs tune? I can hear little (if anything) here at work. :(

My apologies.

The 'Wets' one was the theme to the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral and was #1 in the UK for about 8 years...
