I just got it this morning.

The original album, a live DVD and CD of the entire album performed live, a documentary about it, all wrapped in a lovely box.

All for £12.99!

Other bands take note, this is how to repackage a classic album.

Roll on next years "Point of entry" 30th anniversary edition.

It is out tomorrow here in the States. Am getting it right away! Friend of mine was right up front at the concert in Florida they filmed for the DVD last year. Only a week or two after I saw them here in Gnashville.

That is REALLY good value for money!

A landmark album, no doubt. I'm sure that it stacks up the other classics of that year - 'Blizzard of Ozz', 'Ace of Spades', and 'Heaven and Hell' were all superior to these ears. 'British Steel' has a couple of clunkers on it, 'United' for example. To my ears it was downhill for Priest after this, I must prefered the '70s material to 'Screaming....' or 'Defenders...'

The real irony is that there are no British dates to celebrate 30 years of "British Steel".

You would think that would have been a shoe-in.

I`m not sure about the piped in backing vocals.

What is that all about?

Showing my age but I remember seeing United on TOTP so it must have charted. More like a football anthem than anything else. :)

I don't think that arena tour for 'Nostradamus' did particuarly great business over here - a bit like Heaven & Hell (who also tried arenas), I think that demand was over-estimated.
I guess Priest can make more money in the States..........

They have some beautiful lawns and landscaping in Phoenix...

They water it almost all night...

Well, Halford can afford the water bills, so maybe.

Those who can't would probably just work with what nature gave them and plant some cacti that bloom really pretty around this time of year.
