Sure beats the HELL out of what Vomit Retriever did to the song at the Hall of Lame performance in 2007. Also Eddie Vedder sings it 1000 better than Hagar ever did. Too bad the filmer was so fixated on Vedder that we didn't get to see the guitar solos.

Well, there was a Pearl Jam cover of "Runnin With The Devil" online back in the Napster days that didn't turn out quite as well. :biggrin:

Not too shabby... I'd love to be at a PJ show where they bust out some VH! If you listen, everyone in the audience is singing every goddamn word! It's beautiful!!

Not bad. I can't decide if Pearl Jam are hypocrites for temporarily abandoning their shoe gazing schlock for real rock or just giving props to a song they all probably dug as kids. I'm not a fan of his voice so I never liked em, Ditto w/ STP.

I heard they were great when they played here. Didnt do VH in MA though. They covered Neil Young "Rockin in the Free World"

Agreed. Plus the fact that I hate Vedder almost as much as the Tubster...

My ears tell me you didn't miss much. The guy solo's at about the same level as William Hung's singing ability... :biggrin:

loved hearing the crowd sing and Vedder seems to dig the shit outta the tune, which is cool in my book
