I just took over the Cabowabo group. Not my finest exploit, by far. It's a group of Redheads over there discussing Sammy Hagar bullshit, so since it looks like my cuntinual request for LoungeMachine's demodding is gonna go denied this year, so.. I am going to keep myself busy while chained to the work computer baby-shaking and squashing about 430 ants in my newly acquire antfarm colony.
So please feel free to help me form some sorta "Welcome Mat" notice?
Here's what I got so far: feel free to advise, I know we love Sheep so much here we got a special thread running over a quarter-million views with 100K posts on the subject.. once I get my thoughts (and the best of your well-wishing noted properly) I'll post it probably my Monday or Tuesday.
I'd do it today but then I don't wanna rock the boat yet because the weak ones tend to go in and delete their personal infos and messagues n'soforth.. so once I finish reading it all the next couple days I'll introduce myself.
And as always, if I get tired of shaking the bottle, I'll loan the password out so you all can do the same! Hey, you know I'm a nice guy like that but I'm still DLRArmy MOFO!

Welcome to the CABOWABO Mailing List!
I am your new host, my name is GAR.
Starting today, I begin cleaning up this list and rereading over 13,000 spam messages and member messages to determine who gets banned and who gets to stay. I've had this joint for 7 years abouts, can't remember. Now that I recall wtf how to login here, I'll fix it and pretend to wash the leaves and pull the occasional dead rat from the tailpipe on occasion. Otherwise these changes should be visibly seamless, less the spam and like that..
A NEW DAY! The one posting rule here (I found a box of prior rules-listings here in a broom closet Eddie left for me with a note saying "here's the rules.." well thats out back by the dumpster now) not that I am a rule-person, is I don't like rules. However, I am against flamewars posting personal info.. I will delete that stuff. That's my one ethic.
Some of you are quite aware of who I am and what I do from the other boards where I'm more well-known, and for those who may not like this bit of news re: my take-over exploit here today - I'm okay with that.
I'm the mod. I have to be okay with it! It's my eJoint now, innit?
However, some of you are not aware of who I am and what I do, so let me introduce MY self: I'm a metal fan, I like good live music, good guitar and fun food with company. So why wouldn't you stay, then? OKAY~!!
So there's yer GAUNTLET, children. Staying or going is up to you. If you stay I'll get to know a little about you and what you do, and if you go.. well, you're gonna miss out. God help you, I'm gonna make this place really really fun in short order.

To EDIT your account, logon to: http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/CABOWABO and select your options, however I'll just speak for the group in advance, by saying "set your account to individual messages" as this helps to see who exactly says what.
I know from my past exploits this option works best because on Digest mode, messages become truncated and hard to follow - unless alot of spam is going on.. then you don't care really.
Be sure you speak up and let me know your account is alive, as I have quite a bit of reading to do between now and the holiday to reveal who's been naughty and who's the nice ones here.
As on all VHML, PleasureDUMP, DLRML, Slawterhouse, DLRArmy, Redrocker and Mona threads in the last 14 years or so, I am most-vetted to be the nicest of you nice ones here. Or so I think?
