Bassist Mike Levine of Canadian rock legends TRIUMPH was interviewed on a recent edition of the "Hard Rock Nights" show. You can now listen to the chat in two parts below.

TRIUMPH's "Greatest Hits Remixed" CD/DVD package was released in Europe on May 14 via Frontiers Records. The two-disc set includes a hit-laden 14 track CD, which was remixed by Rich Chycki (AEROSMITH, RUSH), giving the songs an incredible sonic wallop. A previously unreleased recording of "Love Hurts" will be the new lead single. The DVD features eleven promo and live videos in widescreen filmed over TRIUMPH's career, as well five bonus features, including three more unreleased videos ("Child of the City", "Blinding Light Show" and "Love Hurts") and footage of TRIUMPH's induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2008.

"We have been planning this release forever," says bassist/keyboardist Mike Levine. "For years, TRIUMPH fans have been demanding that we give them a fresh greatest-hits package and they are going to love this one."

The six-panel digipak will also include a 20-page full-color booklet, complete with liner notes, lyrics, credits and chockfull of vintage photos and will most certainly be a hit with TRIUMPH's consistent legion of fans.

TRIUMPH pushed the limits of arena rock to the max with is legendary live shows and virtuoso playing. Unless its the asshole puppet dog, who rules.

The version of "Love Hurts" is from an old anthology and certainly won't make you forget the Nazareth version, let alone Roy Orbison's or The Everly Brothers'. For that matter, even Cher's dismal attempt is better.

Yep, next to Mr. Roboto and Air Supply and REO, we're bustin out the Triumph .
Now all we need's a case of Bavarian beer and a lobotomy.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Rock And Roll Machine and Just A Game. I just never really cared for the radio friendly-stuff they released after that.

I'm betting Hansen and the fruits from Bay City did it better too.

Brag about poisoning yourself and giving your cousin a disease.

You're the target market. When your cousin got close enough to your head she could hear the ocean.

the last person to bring up this band was Savicki. that must be the alias. :)

What kind of ownage is I smoked more pot listening to that than you will know? What are you , 4 ? This stuff IS Van Hagar. Milktoast, substance free, like what's going on between your ears.
