GOP Lawmakers Warn of Administration Plan to Grant Amnesty to Illegal Immigrants

FILE: Agents raid a drop house for illegal immigrants in Phoenix in April. Republicans say they fear suspected illegal immigrants will be given blanket amnesty by an executive order of President Obama

Eight Republican senators and an independent group that supports tighter limits on immigration are warning that the Obama administration is drafting a plan to "unilaterally" issue blanket amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants as it struggles to win support in Congress for an overhaul of immigration laws.

The senators who wrote the White House on Monday say they are concerned that the administration is readying a "Plan B" in case a comprehensive reform bill cannot win enough support to clear Congress.

"It seems more real than just bullying (Republicans) into a bill -- that it's a plan that they can actually put forward ... circumventing Congress," an aide told FoxNews.com on Wednesday.

In their letter, the senators -- Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa; Orrin Hatch, R-Utah; David Vitter, R-La.; Jim Bunning, R-Ky.; Saxby Chambliss, Ga.; Johnny Isakson, R-Ga.; James Inhofe, R-Okla.; and Thad Cochran, R-Miss. -- urge the president to "abandon" what they say is a move to "unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens in the United States."

"Such a move would further erode the American public's confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books," they wrote.

FUCK Nancy Pelosi!
FUCK the Catholick Church!
FUCK Barney Frank - faggot! Fuck off Democrats!

I mean, what the fuck - 25 to 35 million Americans out of a job already, and LEGAL immigration takes on about 3 million new people?

We shouldn't even be taking new legal immigrant applications because:

- it dilutes Social and Public Government Services available to citizens
- it steals tax money from those who contribute to it, by those who don't pay in
- congests law enforcement, local schools and other institutions giving aid to the poor
- cheats legal citizens of a fair wage base, by having to compete with the desperate
- clogs the streets and highway system with illegal drivers with shitty cars and trucks

How do you know "this doesn't affect you" if you're employed? Your employer loses sales to a competitor who hires unfairly, every year. You just don't see it because you - oh lucky one - you have a job. For today anyways.

How do you know "this doesn't affect you" if you're SELF-employed? You know this yourself because you lose sales to your competitors who ARE fucking illegal, and hire their illegal family and freinds, or they just hire illegals, and underbid you.

Who wouldn't know this? Only someone employed in government or public service sector, because once they get in, they have a job "for life." Or for what I should say, for the life of the tax base that still pays in.

Deferred action and parole, which give illegal immigrants the ability to seek a work permit and temporary legal status, are normally granted on a case-by-case basis. But the aide said the lawmakers have learned from "sources" that the administration is considering flexing its authority to grant the status on a mass basis.
Numbers USA, an organization that presses for lower immigration levels along with humanitarian treatment of illegal immigrants, has started a petition to the president expressing "outrage" at the alleged plan.
Rosemary Jenks, director of government relations with Numbers USA, said she's been hearing for weeks from "sources close to the Democratic leadership" in both chambers that administration officials are discussing whether the Department of Homeland Security could direct staff to grant "amnesty" for all illegal immigrants in the country.
"They're trying to figure out ways around a vote," she said.
"Any attempt to force an amnesty on the American people using this underhanded method smacks of despotism," reads the fax the group is urging supporters to sign.
The White House has not responded to a request for comment.
The Department of Homeland Security estimated last year that 10.8 million undocumented residents live in the United States; other estimates have ranged higher. Any move to grant blanket legal status, even temporary, would raise questions about how Homeland Security would be able to handle the caseload. Jenks said Congress certainly wouldn't grant the administration the funding for more caseworkers.
The purported discussions of a blanket amnesty come in the middle of several concurrent and heated debates over illegal immigration. The recently signed immigration law in Arizona has divided the country, with some states trying to replicate the state's tough legislation and other jurisdictions boycotting the state in protest. The Obama administration plans to file a court challenge.
Democrats, meanwhile, have been trying to round up support for an overhaul bill in Congress, and the Interior Department is facing renewed criticism from Republican lawmakers over restrictions it places on Border Patrol officers policing the border on federal lands. Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., shocked several Arizona residents last week when he told them that Obama had said he would not beef up border security because it would leave Republicans without an incentive to pass broader immigration reforms.
Jenks said the talks about Homeland Security allowing illegal immigrants to stay are "serious."
Under the law, immigration officials can grant deferred action to temporarily postpone removing an illegal immigrant from the country. That status does not offer a guarantee that they won't face deportation, but Jenks said illegal immigrants granted parole are often allowed to seek permanent legal status.
If a "Plan B" is being discussed, it's unclear how far along the talks might be. Another GOP Senate aide said the discussions started after Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Richard Lugar, R-Ind., called on Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano in April to stop deportations of undocumented students who could earn legal status under a bill they introduced.
A Senate Democratic aide said the Obama administration never responded to the April letter.

Rich Big Biz Types Pledge New Effort To Have More Foreign Workers While 25 Million Americans Can't Find Full-Time Job

By Roy Beck (http://www.numbersusa.com/content/blog/beckr), Thursday, June 24, 2010, 2:28 PM EDT - posted on NumbersUSA (http://wwww.numbersusa.com/)
http://www.numbersusa.com/content/files/imagecache/bloghead/files/pictures/picture-21.jpgThe disgust of major business leaders toward unemployed Americans apparently knows no bounds. Now, we have the heads of Disney, Hewlett-Packard and other large entities joining with New York Mayor Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch promising to fight to increase foreign workers in the U.S. Seriously, what kind of dream world do they live in?
The Associated Press reports (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jnZAv3VC5P-Hj9yYTA23c73qq28QD9GHKFS80):

Chief executives of several major corporations, including Hewlett-Packard, Boeing, Disney and News Corp., are joining Mayor Michael Bloomberg to form a coalition advocating for immigration reform — including a path to legal status for all undocumented immigrants now in the United States.
The group includes several other big-city mayors and calls itself the Partnership for a New American Economy. It seeks to reframe immigration reform as the solution to repairing and stimulating the economy.
Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corp., appeared together Thursday on Fox News to discuss the effort.
Federal data (http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t15.htm) show that around 25 million U.S. workers who want a full-time job cannot find one.
Yet, to the rich corporate executives, you can never have too many workers competing for each job. Having lots of unemployed people in the country, helps keep wages lower, benefits lower and working conditions lower. The current unemployment is a dream for corporations whose top priority is not the national community but their bottom line.
Still, wouldn't you think these Fat Cats would find 25 million people hungry for a job to be a big enough excess pool of labor?
Apparently not.
This new Fat Cat Coalition has promised to convince the working people of this country that our economy depends on giving permanent work permits to millions of illegal aliens and to greatly increasing our already unprecedented level of legal foreign labor importation.

We're just going to keep the pressure on the congressmen," (Rupert) Murdoch said. "Somebody has to lead and explain to the country why this is in our interest."
The CEOs said Thursday in statements that their companies — and the nation — depend on immigrants. "It's our great strength as a nation, and it's also critical for continued economic growth," Walt Disney Co. Chairman and CEO Robert Iger said in a statement.
The group says it intends to make its point to policymakers by "publishing studies, conducting polls, convening forums and paying for public education campaigns."
GREED.
That is what it is pure and simple. While I believe most business owners and executives truly care about their community, there still are plenty at the top whose greed for just a few more billions will drive them to sacrifice anything about Americans' quality of life.
For Disney, Hewlett, Murdoch, etc., the current immigration system that will drive nearly 150 million (http://www.numbersusa.com/content/learn/about/what-numbersusa-is-all-about.html) more people into our communities and countryside by 2050 just isn't forcing population growth and congestion fast enough. Their money will always allow them to privately jet to some unspoiled place so they can enjoy serenity and nature. They just don't care how packed and racked the rest of us are in the process of their importing more foreign workers.

This is not hard to figure out......

Why do you think so much shit flew during the big Arizona scandal?
The average American has, by now wised up, to the fact that Obozo has lied and fucked them all over with his lies and bullshit.

So.....let's keep the borders open in order to bring in people who are oblivious to the agenda of these socialist assholes. As long as they're able to hold a magic marker and return a favor by drawing a pretty little X next to Obama's name on a fucking ballot, then I guess everything else is goddamn irrelevant!
The dumber the better, and ignorance definitely qualifies! Matter of fact.....ignorance is motherfuckin' BLISS!!

When I was in elementary school, we started everyday with the Pledge Of Allegiance, and I was proud to to place my right hand over my heart. And through the years, I never took for granted all the things I was able to get away with.....the drugs, the booze, the chicks I've screwed. I always boasted that this was the only country I could possibly get away with all of this, and that in no other country would I get away with any of it......

It's a very different kind of a country today.......and my motivation now is to work my ass off in order to retire somewhere else.....as much as it pains me to say it.....this country FUCKIN' SUCKS now. It's all up to all of you Obama-Bots and what you make of this country now......I no longer feel inspired to be a part of any of it anymore.

Force-fed health-care? 20% of this once great nation un-employed? The lone players in Cap and Trade? No thanks! I'll retire in Mexico, which is ironic, seeing as how so many Mexicans are flipping over the gate to be here right now as I post this......

They deserve whatever the fuck they get.....and for sucking Obama's cock....so do you!

Fuck a socialist government......and fuck YOU!

Maybe in the Obama universe where we have 57 states, this lady might be correct.

The Illegal Amnesty movement thinks they're doing two things: letting the Third World in on the best wages and living benefits in the world, and adding to their voting base.

But the one thing they hadn't thought of is = if your population is suddenly 20 percent illegals with no education or job skills, and they're all four-foot ugly 200pound Catholic mongrels expecting to come up here and pitch cardboard shacks eating all the govt. subsidized tortillas they can eat? Suddenly, the wages in this country will get diluted by at least twenty percent, just do the math it's that easy.

Besides that, they don't know anyting about contraception or personal hygiene, it's okay to get drunk Saturday night and beat the old lady, so all the prisons will fill up because our society did away with that shit in the 70s.. we'll just go down the toilet like all the other S. American nations into complete mediocrity.

This country is special, but the mediocrities of the third world all wanna pile in here and fuck it all up for us, what our ancestors gave thier lives for? Fuck that!

god forbid you do any actual thinking for yourself. look, here's a little hint: rabid right-wing talk shows are probably going to put a bit of a narrow spin on certain issues.

after all, if they had anything other than blind speculation about what obama might do, i might consider listening to them.

but given that we KNOW what republican bush would and did do to fix immigration (nothing), i'm not sure i'd wholesale attack democrats simply because of what glenn beck said they would likely do.

You mean the Repubs should do something like say, I don't know, AZ SB 1070? That sure isn't "nothing". So are you going to complain that they do nothing, or complain when they do something? Seems like you guys are always complaining about the Republicans whether they do anything or not.

Or were you more thinking along the lines of the 700 miles of border Republicans wanted in place that the Democrats screamed & shouted about while making sure there were enough "rest stations" in the desert to assist illegals crossing over so they would be safe?

What would I do?

Build a big fucking wall and use the National Guard to, you know, guard the nation. Once the inflow was slowed enough, you have to attack the problem from several directions. A Federal law like AZ SB 1070. Oh wait, Feds already have that & don't do anything with it (but sure cause a stink when a state decides they will). I would ENFORCE the law. I would deport every criminal as soon as their time is up. I would stop giving instant citizenship to anchor babies. I would stop all welfare benefits to illegals with the exception of "life-saving" medical treatment. I would prosecute any business found hiring illegals to the full extent of the law.

From there we can re-asses. Once all of the above is working, then I would decide what to do with illegals here that do not commit any other crimes and are actually working for a living. It may be that with the freed up prison system & welfare money, some type of amnesty might be ok. But I sure as hell wouldn't start with that. If you announce amnesty first, that is just going to creat a HUGE influx of illegals coming in to get a piece of that.

Just saying that four years ago the title of this thread would be "Republican Congress FUCKING You on Illegals Amnesty".

So tell me what else is new? Republican or Democrat makes no difference. Thread title should be "Congress FUCKING You on Illegals Amnesty".

I hear a lot of bold talk from people running for Congress about how "Congress does not listen to the people", but once elected, they ignore 'the people' and become what they were originally bitching about in order to get elected.

How ironic.

At least President Mobama is sending token forces and materiel to the border, just to make it appear as if he cares about securing our borders.

The worst part of it is the refusal of the Fed to enforce their own laws.

The Democrats are pure scum but let's not forget two terms of Republican rule did not secure the border either. Two peas in the same pod they are. Both parties could care less if the Americans live or die. They only care about the big corporations who love slave labor; whether it's brought in here or exported over there.

We have been lied to. I remember in college they would tell us the free trade was wonderful and we didn't need manufacturing because service and technology would replace it. Now engineers are losing their jobs to engineers in India and China who work for less. Everyone is being screw across the board whether you are a medical professional to a teacher.

The system is broke. It's ran by a few greedy people behind the scenes and it's giving most of us the shaft.

That's called lawlessness. I have friends in Tucson and they say it's getting fucking bad there. You can criticize Arizona but the Federal government has allowed armed thugs with military weapons to terrorize southern Arizona. Let's face the facts. There is a major narco war going on with thugs who chop off heads and torture people. I wonder how much drug money the feds are making because obviously they sure as hell don't want to stop it.

If the Federal Government refuses to enforce it's own laws to the point of causing chaos, then the states have to pick up the slack. People live locally and if Washington DC doesn't give a shit then they have to take care of business locally. If the situation can't be remedied in the next election then the states will start taking a more indapendant route possibly to the point of succeeding to survive. It's clear the Federal Government is nothing more than multinational corporate bought shills who bully the people.

It's started in Europe. In France they are having national strikes over their pension retirement age being extended. I think a national strike is in order here. Save up some food and stay home. Let it rot for awhile and see how they like it. They don't have enough Mexicans to run everything.

I mean, what could be more truthful than a GOP press release masquerading as a Faux "news story?"
