For one the Sargent of Arms if the president is in violation of Senate rules.

Also, a county sheriff can arrest the commander in chief if he's broken the law in that county. Washington DC has no sheriff.

Boy, can you imagine any US President being arrested? I'm sure they ALL have done shit that would get a normal bloke tossed in the pokey. Can a US President grant himself clemency or a pardon? Weird shit indeed.

Yup. That's why I stay in Arlington or Alexandria when I go to DC. Go a few blocks north of the White House and it's a shit hole. It's really bad south of the US Capitol as well.

Franklin Pierce was arrested for running over an elderly lady with his horse. The case was dropped for lack of evidence.

Ulysses S. Grant was arrested for speeding on his horse. He had to pay a $20.00 fine.

I have no idea just how fast Grant and his horse were going.
