Reminds me of a funny story. Several years back (1992, to be precise), a friend of mine and I got a bunch of Bill Clinton bumper stickers and went into downtown Portland around 8 PM and started retagging cars that had George Bush stickers on them. After a while of doing that, we eventually decided to stand on one of the corners and just hold up Clinton signs...within five minutes, we had a couple of pickup truck driving rednecks in the big city roll down one of their dirty windows and start yelling assorted obscenities, which we found kind of amusing. What was even more amusing was when they proceeded to slam directly into the car in front of them in the intersection.
Oh how we laughed at their misfortune. Laughed like we hadn't laughed since we were young children and saw the world as a place full of wonder and endless possibilities.

Yeah, I pretty much swallowed a pharmacy back then, or at least I've been lead to believe by friends that were there at the time. The thing is, if they were joining in as well, how in hell could they remember with any more clarity than me?
