I saw Uncle Ted in concert about a month ago. I took my wife, a girl from Brasil. She had no idea what she was in for. I sort of knew what to expect.

The guy can rock. He had a 3-piece band. He made plentiful tributes to motown and Detroit music, and Blues/R&B artists... "never forget where you came from" Ted would rip out a riff, and pause to say "You can't do this in France" and continue to tear it up.

Ted was over the top. My wife loved it, she could not stop shaking her ass. But eventually Ted went to far. He said he wanted to kill 300 animals for every animal rights activist. My wife looked at me (looks could kill!), put her head down, then walked out fuming 3 minutes later.

My concert review: Good ole American Rock and Roll. Ted's an ass, but I admire his patriotism, with a grain of salt.

I've met Ted in person on two different occasions. He one wild mother fucker on stage but in person he is actually more reserved. He comes across as a knowledgable scout master. He knows a ton about the outdoors and is well read and intelligent. His wild fuck kill all the PETA people and gun grabbers really doesn't do him or his cause any good. It turns people off but I guess that's how Ted want's it. You can tell he has a HUGE ego and is full of energy.

He's can be an asshole but he's not the monster people make him to be. Ted likes freedom and wants everyone to have freedom. He's not into dictatorship or thinking a certain group of should tell the others what to do. As Ted put it do me,"People should have the freedom to make fools out of themselves."

He is a great blues player and love him or hate him, he puts out. You aren't going to get a half-assed show with Ted.

                  I don't get it.

I know people here seem to like him but I've never heard him do anything I thought was good, maybe that's because I didn't listen to him when I was young.

As far as his views go, I've heard enough of them already.

1983 or 4 i was in a youth conservation camp for a month or two. they had an old jukebox in the px with very little rock and roll. i remember a cople of ac/dc tunes on there, but "cat scratch fever" was played more than anything.

Give this a listen. If you are a guitar player try and keep up. The is Ted at his all time best.

Ted was also in one of my favorite episodes of Miami Vice. LOL!

Tweaker. Says he's straight and never did drugs, but I highly doubt that.

He's amped where ever he goes, and I dont mean with guitar speakers..

He says he doesn't drink but was drinking beer with Anthony Bourdain at a BBQ joint. I'm sure Ted did some drugs in the day but you can tell if people have used them long-term and for an old fart, Ted is in great shape. He's just an energetic dude and probably was hyperactive as a kid. He kind of has that hyperactive crazy thing David Lee Roth has and it's natural. To be honest, I want to have that kind of energy when I'm 65. Ted could run your average 18 year old today into the ground.

If the guy has any redeeming value I would say it his positive outlook and work ethic. Ted isn't a negative guy and believes you can always work your way out of a hole.
