Obama, Pelosi, and Ried work together. Obama announces continuing the Bush tax breaks for another two years out of the blue. I found this strange but now I get what he's really up to. He knows the Democrat congress will hold up the process. By holding it up they can extend unemployment benefits and add all sorts of things in that benefit Obama's socialist agenda long-term.
Unemployment insurance has increased to levels where small businesses can no longer afford it and are letting employs go because of it. What sounds good is actually an attack on small business. Obama may be more to advance his socialist transformation of the US through back room deals and stuffing the tax legislation. It's a last ditch attempt to get what he wants and no he is not becoming a Republican.
It may actually cost less to let January 1st come without a deal and negotiate it later. A pretty slick move by Obama and if you are a socialist, you should cheer him because he's fighting to the wire for your cause.
Obama's tax deal is nothing more than him trying to get all he can out of the lame duck session. Obama's main objective is to convert the US from a free market system to a socialist system and he pulls out all the stops to meet this objective. Obama is hoping to gain more from the earmarks than the loss of tax revenue. Very clever.
