If you look at President Obama's background, he's clearly a person of the socialist mindset. He may not be as radicle as some of his mentors but this is a man that clearly endorses the distribution of wealth philosophy.

Obama became a community organizer because that is what community organizers do. They redistribute wealth while having the luxury of not having to worry where that wealth actually comes from. They just divy out of a full bucket.

As president of the United States you don't have this luxury; especially, when you are in office during one of the worst economic downturns in the country's history. Obama would clearly love to continue carving the US up into what he views to be a socialist utopia but the problem is the bucket is now empty and people are looking to him to fill the bucket.

Obama has never had to face such a situation in his life. He never thought about how the bucket gets filled in the first place. So now he goes to his economic advisors from Wall Street (Goldman Sachs and The Federal Reserve). These guys perfectly know, you have to cut taxes to stimulate the economy and raising them will choke it. Bill Clinton was called in to sell this very true concept. Raising taxes during a depression kills the economy. Obama may not like this but it's economic reality and if he doesn't fill the bucket, he will have nothing to redistribute later.

So Obama wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants a socialist government but has never been faced with an empty bucket before. So now he has to think more like a capitalist to fill the bucket because socialism can't work with an empty bucket. Something the Soviet Union came to learn the hard way. So it's not Obama really asking for the tax cuts, it's Timothy Geithner and Larry Summers. You have to fill the bucket before you can steal from it.

So what Obama is faced with is a hard cold lesson on economic reality. Never before in his life has he even thought about where the water in the bucket comes from. While community organizing the well was always full.

Worse than that. At least Dylan still made decent music when he went electric. This would be more like Dylan turning into David Cassidy the moment he was signed by Columbia records.

I'm friends with a US senator and he tells me things are worse than the politicians are letting on and to be honest, most of them don't know what to do. The bankers bailout fleeced the country more than the two wars have. There is no cash reserves. In other words the Federal Reserve has us by the balls. We can't afford any new spending period. The government is going to have to start sliming itself down radically and this is something most politicians don't get.

I think Barrack Obama had every intention of keeping his campaign promise on taxes but when his advisors convinced him of how much damage that would do to the economy, he had second thoughts. You have to remember Barrack Obama has never ran a business or managed a payroll in his life. He has just spent other people's money and until you actually feel the weight of running a business and making payroll every two weeks, you just don't understand the business world and the reality of it.

Well, that's great news for Republicans, then. Not only did the bailouts make their buddies rich (something Republicans should be loving Obama for) but now they get to cut all those pesky socialist government programs like infrastructure, education, roads and public response services. But FUCK KNOWS they had to extend those tax cuts, didn't they? Well thank god for that! I just don't know what I'd do if the top 2% in this country weren't pulling in 80% of ALL the cash there is to be had.

The good news is, my transmission just went out this morning and I don't even have a Christmas tree. But I can rest assured that the Republicans are doing their best to make sure that the CEO of my company pays another $2000.00 in taxes this year while he nets about $44,000,000.00 in year end cash and stock benefits.

I sure am glad Fox News got Americans so fed up with all of that damn socialist nazi marxist Kenyans policies so that this is the end result.

On 60 Minutes tonight this TOTALLY HOT woman who is one of the world's leading economic experts said within 12 months we are going to see the second wave of meltdowns.

So far, everyone's focus has been on the Federal level.

But the states and cities are going bankrupt as well. They profiled Illinois and New Jersey, both of which are in the red tens of billions of dollars. They have no money, and in Illinois' case, they can't even pay what they owe right now to the tune of a couple of billion dollars.

Some states are selling their state-owned office buildings to investors and just leasing them in order to save cash.

They need to legalize pot. They want some kind of revenue stream? LEGALIZE IT AND TAX IT!

Congress gave Wall Street a blank check and they robbed the bank account. The country is broke and if you raise taxes on the middle class, you kill what's left of the economy and spark off a revolution. Obama doesn't want masses of very pissed off people surrounding the white house. As we all know, the very rich don't pay taxes and the poor don't pay taxes, the middle class pay taxes. Screw them over and you've thrown the match on the gasoline and Obama knows this.

Of course we're broke. That's what happens when you have a country that doesn't actually fucking produce anything. Either we start creating product here via new production jobs (not likely, since the success of trickle-down economics depends on outsourcing, something we all learned very well under Reagan), or we (as HR69 said) legalize pot and tax the fucking shit out of it to get some revenue generated.

Unfortunately, as we all learned just recently by watching California, you can't do that either because pot is scary and probably not very Christian.

The difference? Nitro blames Obama for it while the rest of us can kinda see how it's lead up to this over the last, oh, 30 years or so.

Jesus and His Dad created the plant. What could be more "Christian" than that?
