So it's the end of the year and our run for the rankings is over. Emily will be out showing again at Westminster and a handful of assorted shows, but for the most part, she is done with her show career. I thought you might like to see where she ended up.

My little girl not only achieved the record you see in the link, but ended up the #3 dog all breeds in the U.S. for 2010, #1 Sporting Dog, #1 Irish Setter.

I know some of you think this is complete bullshit, but if you follow any sports, you know the thrill of someone breaking an alltime record. They can't take this away.

i had to laugh when Emily was on TV a few months back and the guy referred to her as "bitch."

but done? already? is that typical?

there as a big show here over the weekend but it looked like the local clubs only. i didn't see any mention of an Irish setter club.

bring her back out this way, the dog beach is at the bottom of the hill. we can sit there and be lazy all day.

Yeah Twona, Emily was there and won the Sporting group each day but did not go best in show. Yes, it's pretty standard for a dog to show for a year or two and then retire.

She's not a bitch, she's a princess. OK she's a bitch sometimes too. :)

I didn't go this year - I was working. I missed lots of the shows - jobs just interfere with my social life. :)
