"Failure of our news media"?

A more accurate description would be Thom Hartmanns failure to pay attention. Most of this stuff is out there. Yeah, entertainment is also a sad part of news, but that's why we watch. Just take a thread here as I link below. 5 posts about Russia & China dropping the US dollar compared to 127 posts when Britney Spears wasn't wearing panties & a paparazzi snapped a pic.

I won't make an entire page of posts to prove my point. But if you are bored, you can find news media clips from the major networks discussing everything he mentions was missed.

I was gonna watch this video, until I realized that it was from "Russia Today" which is basically the Putin Propaganda Network.

Putin kicked the robber barons out of Russia because they were taking over his job. You do get some news on Russia today that you won't hear on US mainstream media but they are all too happy to put wieners of the US on air. So yup, take Russia Today with a grain of salt. All media is biased in one way or another, the truth always lies somewhere in the middle.

OK, that video was completely unrelated to the topic of this thread, but it looks like it was staged anyway, as the so-called "police officer" never produced a badge or any form of identification.
