I tried one of these Zero motorcycles the other day. I rode it around inside a big warehouse and couldn't take it outside because of the weather but they have a ton of torque and instant get up and go. You can do burnouts. They are more expensive than a standard gasoline bike but the batteries are always getting better and you can carry extra ones in saddle bags. An interesting product. I like to ride a bike around where I live and go to town. I could just keep one of these plugged in and it probably would have the range I usually ride.
