Anyone remember them? I kind of missed them first time around in the 90s.

My pals band are supporting them this week and I'll be popping along.

Outstanding band.

Kory Clarke was doing the whole politcal metal before Rage Against the Machine came along. But Warrior Soul were much more than just a gimmick, or a one dimensional protest band - garage rock/metal which was a little grungy without being introspective. Loud, dirty with big greasy riffs.

'Drugs, God and the New Republic' and 'Salutations From the Ghetto Nation' are well worth checking out. They didn't sound like anyone else.

Indeed it was.

From what I remember though Sesh, it is only Kory Clarke (vocals) who is left from the original line-up.

Surprised you're not going, probably more your bag than mine. :)

I actually thought about popping over to Sheffield to see them tomorrow, but money is tight.

They are definitely on my 'to see' list, but needs must at the moment.

I never realised you were down living amongst the Trevors these days.

Fairly small crowd in a bar but they still really went for it which I admire.

I was left wondering how can someone with such great hair get so annoyed about the world... :)

Hahaha! Good to see that Kory is still angry.

I've actually just returned from a weekend away in Edinburgh. It didn't rain, which was nice.
