What do you think of the Coverdale - Page album?? Do you have it??
I've listened to a few songs off of it and they rock. What do you think?

Yeah, I dug it.

Maybe too many big ballad style songs.

However, in my opinion, "Easy does it" and "Don`t leave me this way" could be as good as anything Led Zeppelin or Whitesnake ever released, the latter being particularly spinetingling in delivery all round.

I owned it and pawned it. I can't get past the fact that Dave Coverdale is a second rate Plant. I just can't stand him.

I thought the album had some great tunes. "Over Now" sounded great.

It was a hell of a lot better than the shit on a disc "Walking Into Clarksdale". Robert Plant sounded like a second rate version of himself.

Coverdale has never earned an ounce of respect from Robert Plant.

I remember seeing Whitesnake open for Motley Crue in '87. I couldn't wait for it to end.

David Coverdale walked out to the front of the stage and said, "Here's a song about a blow job." And they launched into "Here I Go Again."

Perhaps if the song was "Here I Blow Again" or "Here I Cum Again" the reference would have made more sense to the audience.

I have the bootlegs of them rehearsing for a tour. Coverdale does a horrible version of Kashmir and Page plays the Whitesnake songs too slow.

Coverdale was always the "Creed" version of Robert Plant.

My local radio station fucking LOVES "Slide It In."

It's funny when one of my female co-workers comes in right on time to hear, "I'm gonna slide it in straight to the top. I'm gonna slide it in and I ain't ever gonna stop."

You just know the girl instantly thinks about fucking.

I love it!

PLANT OR NOTHING. Page is my idol but that doesn't change the fact that he's playing with a total jerkoff. Don't settle for anything less than Led Zeppelin.

I think Page teamed up with Coverversion just to piss Plant off, and it must have worked because in a couple of years you had the Page and Plant reunion thing going.

I own this album and I like a lot of the guitar work on it. The vocals, well I'm not saying Coverdale can't sing, it's just he doesn't have his own voice. I kept saying, I wonder what Plant would have done with these...

The weird thing was seeing Page and Plant on the Unledded tour, and they performed Shake My Tree. It was very strange to hear Plant sing that song...it was like him, imitating Coverdale, imitating Plant.

It has some of Page's best playing post-Zeppelin on it. That said Coverdale is absolutely horrible.
