http://i53.tinypic.com/24dg31l.jpgAll's well that ends well. Banning Gar and Ace left them with so much free time that they decided to put their band back together.

That's a live shot of 'Diamond & Garfuckle' playing their hit "Bridge Over Trolling Waters"

:lmao: I kill me!

I would say Immortal.

Then I found this:

Translation:

Immortal Group just wanted to convince fans that he is hardcore, that has set the stage speaker grille. Unfortunately, their false stroke is captured in the photo.

The band is not in the isolated, the music industry after the empty boxes amplifiers and speakers is a salable commodity. Technical teams are not surprised at all that they have something to set the scene.

And may we all have long knew about it, and my surprise is a sign of naivete?

It's pretty much common knowledge that many of VH's cabinets were empty, were they not ??

Weren't a few of them merely printed upon a blanket that was suspended above the stage during one VH tour?

The thing is, perhaps this guy is running everything through the FOH, and used the facade merely as a rock and roll stage staple. To be fair, not everyone can afford to pull the Geddy Lee routine of displaying clothes dryers, snack machines or rotisserie chicken cookers as their back line while doing so.

I think that's brilliant.

So the dude can't afford a wall of Marshalls. Well, that prop serves twofold:

1. It's eye candy for the audience,

2. The space behind it can serve as storage for not only the real setup, but for other props as well.

Besides, he's far from being the first to use such a thing. Hell, I bet every big name has used something similar on stage. VH, as has already been pointed out.

It's rock n' roll, mates... half of it is done with mirrors.

Cheers! :bottle:

Yup, the speaker curtain looked incredible live. I wonder if Geddy's roasted chickens were Kosher?

Dude, if they woulda had all those turned up, the opening of You Really Got Me woulda shot Dave into the fucking Lodge section.

"Everybody Uuuuyaaaaarrrggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!"

On the bright side, he wouldn't have needed that crazy surfboard to float over the crowd.

If any of you have seen the video for Ygor Fatsteen's Live In Leningrad concert, towards the end he grabs a Marshall cab and starts slinging it around the stage like it was nothing. Quite obvious it had those newfangled Celestion "Inviso-Speakers" in it. :D

Some questions suggested by a closer look...

1. Is he using a wireless, or is the guitar (like the fake amps) not even plugged in?
2. What's with the garage fan facing skyward? Does it help in the fight against mosquitoes?

He's got some greasy hamburgers going on the Kingsford. If you are going to have stage smoke, you might as well get it from a useful process.

When you are your own roadie why not? A lot lighter than the real ones full of heavy speaker magnets and iron core transformers.

It looks like a wireless transmitter taped to his strap. Probably patched into the 2 Engl's behind his fake backline.....

Could be. I figured he was just using one of those el-cheapo Fender straps that always seem to fall apart after you use them for three days.
