I am a great bartender. Maybe, one of the best.
One of the most delightful drinks I make is called a juju. It is creamy, satisfying, cools you when you are hot, makes you dizzy while going down, and before you know it you are a hot mess.
However, that is not the gift for tonight...
Tonight, I have for presentation the Hamburger Martini.
I know you would like exact measurements.... That does not happen.. You gotta have a feel... so go to your local bar tender or your out of state one if you local is inept. :biggrin:
Brands are important on this one....
The vodka is cheep like hamburger, but it is what you dress it up with that makes the day.
Skoll Vodka -
about a shot or so.
Dell Monte Organic Kosher Dill Burger Slices Pickles -
A good splash, but not enough to make the martini real dirty.
Martini and Rossi Extra Dry -
Usually with this I would say a mere essence. 2 drops would be a lot. However, this is what actually makes it. and 1/4 of a cap a good fouth of a cap.
The Rossi blends with the pickle juice so well.
I would have never dreamed this would have been such a good match up.
I am certain the brands have 100% to do with the recipe.
There you go, a Hamburger Martini.
Truly the most awesome martini I have had. You got to be a Martini drinker and a dirty one at that. However this is not that dirty. Nice clean crisp afternoon perfect with a burger and useful! Now you know what to do with the left over pickle juice. :biggrin:
