When $3.3 trillion of the bailout money was returned from banks and corporations it was immediately loaned out at close to 0% interest. General Electric was first in line for this cheap money. It's interesting to note the CEO of GE is now Obama's head of economic recovery and guess who is getting government grant money? GE.

Change You Can Count On meets We Bring Good Things to Life. So when they want to build a GE reactor in your back yard or ship the waste there. Give it a little thought. One thing for sure, it won't be in Obama's back yard or the GE CEO's back yard.

But then this is the president that got Bin Laden so I guess we shouldn't care about his crooked politics.

And Democrats thought the Cheney/Haliburton contract deals were crooked.

Well, there are some major differences here....

1) Obama was never the CEO of General Electric.

2) Obama hasn't started any wars for the direct benefit of GE's financial gain or his own "retirement account".

Not excusing the deal or Jeff Immelt's association with Obama. I think in both instances it sucks ass. But still far from Cheney levels here.

Obama has simply expanded the corruption but then the last president to be remotely in control of his presidency was Bill Clinton. Bush Jr. and Obama are just puppets and more of the same than people would care to admit. To sell the Republicans you need a guy who acts like John Wayne and to sell the Democrats you need a more polished intellectual type. It's the don't mess with Texas independent type vs. the big daddy knows best mentality. Basically they are selling the public two different models of cars but the engine and drive train is the same. More corporate control, less real competition, more wars, and sticking the losses to the current and future generations of tax payers. It will keep on festering and getting worse until both the Republicans and Democrats wake up and decide the survival of the nation is more important than the stupid social shit both argue over.
