Ignorance Is Bliss?

I drive out in the country, see the cattle munching contentedly in the pastures

I roll down my window and yell "KANSAS CITY STRIP! TOP SIRLOIN! FILET MIGNON!!!!!!"

I drive on down the road....thoughts of prime rib in my head....

And the cattle...munching on their grass.....wonder what in the hell I was yelling about as I drove by......

Moo......

Oh, give me a home where the Buffalo roam
Where the Deer and the Antelope play;
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the sky is not cloudy all day.
Chorus
A home! A home!
Where the Deer an the Antelope play,
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the sky is not clouded all day.
Oh! give me a land where the bright diamond sand
Throws its light from the glittering streams,
Where glideth along the graceful white swan,
Like the maid in her heavenly dreams.
Chorus
Oh! give me a gale of the Solomon vale,
Where the life streams with buoyancy flow;
On the banks of the Beaver, where seldom if ever,
Any poisonous herbage doth grow.
Chorus
How often at night, when the heavens were bright,
With the light of the twinkling stars
Have I stood here amazed, and asked as I gazed,
If their glory exceed that of ours.
Chorus
I love the wild flowers in this bright land of ours,
I love the wild curlew's shrill scream;
The bluffs and white rocks, and antelope flocks
That graze on the mountains so green.
Chorus
The air is so pure and the breezes so fine,
The zephyrs so balmy and light,
That I would not exchange my home here to range
Forever in azures so bright.
Chorus

Little Jack Horny sat in a corner eating Mary.

He stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plumb and said where in the fuck is your cherry?

There was an old Lady from Grot.
Who lived on green apples and snot.
When there were no more of these,
she lived on the cheese,
that she scraped from the sides of her Twat.

HR, now see what you've started??? :barf:
Dang it, I let my curiosity get the best of me. Now it's time to try to forget what I've just read. Sunny, REALLY??

On my way home this afternoon, there is an area I drive through where there are some cattle.

I did not roll down the window and yell at them, though I do that once in awhile.

So when I got home, the words just came to me. Not your standard poem, but then, poems are not required to rhyme.

Probably the best literary description of my feelings about meat on the hoof, with the usual humorous intent.

I often say "I did not claw my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian." :biggrin:

I am a third generation one.

My brother (the Doctor one) said I am glad you are....you are way too aggressive even just as you are.....ingesting all those fake (for your body) hormones would push you even harder.
