This is pretty neat. You can see the hydraulic elevators that were introduced on the Love Gun tour. These probably came about out of necessity after Ace was electrocuted while climbing one of the stairways and reached for a railing in order to steady himself during one of the shows on the previous Rock And Roll Over tour. It is also interesting to note just how grueling the band's touring schedule (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Kiss_concert_tours) was during these periods, more often than not playing back-to-back shows in different cities.

Funny, they used to do two or morwe different tours a year. Released an album every 6 months, with live albums smashed in between. Nobody does that any more. The record labels have to drag the bands' touring schedules out to maximize profits before getting the next album out...Alive II tour began in November of that year. Rock and Roll Over Tour lasted until April 3 of that year. So they were on 3 different tours that year.

Those guys probably could put their makeup on in their sleep. KISS wasn't exactly run out in jeans and a T shirt and do the show. It was a lot of prep to get on their stage.

It's no wonder why that all hated each other by 1978.
