View Full Version : HA! Vinnie Vincent Arrested For Domestic Violence....

I'll be damned.....he lives here in the Nashville area:

Former KISS guitarist Vincent Cusano -- aka Vinnie Vincent -- allegedly smacked his wife in the face and dragged her through a pile of broken glass on the night he was arrested ... and when cops arrived to the house, they found 4 dead dogs at the scene ... this according to law enforcement.

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... on May 22, Vincent's wife, Diane, arrived to the Sheriff's Office "covered in blood" and reeking of alcohol.

Cops say 44-year-old Diane told the officers how she had just escaped from the couple's Tennessee home ... after Vincent "smacked her in the face" following an argument about a "female subject [Vincent] was talking to." She says Vincent then "grabbed her by the hair and threw her down to the ground."

Diane says Vincent then "dragged her through a pile of glass from a broken plate that had been on the floor since before the argument had started."

Diane told police she tried to get away -- but 58-year-old Vincent threw her to the ground 4 more times. She eventually escaped and drove herself to the station.

Cops dispatched officers to the home -- where they found Vincent and "four sealed containers containing deceased dogs."

Diane told the cops .... the dogs had been "killed by one of their aggressive dogs."

Vincent was eventually arrested and booked for aggravated domestic assault -- and his bond was set at $10,000. TMZ obtained his mug shot, pictured above.

An animal service team was contacted to look into the dead dog situation.

From Blabbermouth:

Vincent replaced lead guitarist Ace Frehley in 1982 and played with KISS for two years. He left the group on bad terms, and later claimed KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley owed him royalties for his work on KISS' 1983 album "Lick It Up", according to the Courthouse News Service. However, a federal judge in Los Angeles ruled against him and awarded the KISS defendants about $66,400 in attorney's fees and $15,400 in costs.

Last June, Vincent lost his 6th Circuit appeal of an order barring him from seeking bankruptcy protection from paying more than $81,000 to his former bandmates.

In January, Vincent, in association with Guitarmageddon Guitars, unveiled the official Vinnie Vincent model guitar at the NAMM convention.

I despise that crap. It figured into a great deal of recipes in one of the kitchens I worked at, and during the introductory process of learning what was what, we had to take a course in it. It was drummed into each of us that tofu takes on the flavor of whatever it is immersed in. I argued that so does a tennis shoe, only the tennis shoe ends up tasting better. A pox on that shit. It is made from soybeans, the same stuff they make parachutes out of. I'd be willing to bet that the parachutes taste better as well.

I never understood what the purpose of "tofu dogs" or any other vegetarian hot dog was. I get the concept of "Tofurkey" or Gardenburgers/BocaBurgers, or Morningstar fake chicken patties or whatever. If someone is a recent convert to vegetarianism, or a meat eater trying to work in some meatless things for health reasons, then a reasonable substitute makes sense. And most of the above are quite edible if prepared correctly. But why bother with a veggie substitute for something made from animal intestines :sick0020:

Enough tofu talk. This place was featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives last night. The joint is called Dad's Kitchen, and they serve a burger with bacon and bleu cheese as a fried-on topping. If you aren't hungry now, you will be after looking at the clip.

And remember, paste is nothing more than flour and water. So food products do have uses other than eating.

Homemade Glue and Paste Recipes

The following glue and paste recipes use a variety of ingredients and methods. Choose the one that best suits your project. For variety, add food coloring before using. Store all glues and pastes in airtight containers in the refrigerator.

Glue

Materials

3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1 teaspoon white vinegar
Small saucepan
Small bowl
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3/4 cup cold water
Directions

Mix water, corn syrup, and vinegar in saucepan.
Bring to a full, rolling boil.
In bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water.
Add this mixture slowly to the hot mixture, stirring constantly until the mixture returns to a boil.
Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
When cooled, pour into another container and let stand overnight before using.
Homemade Paste

Materials

1/2 cup flour
Cold water
Saucepan
Food coloring (optional)
Directions

Add cold water to flour until mixture is as thick as cream.
Simmer and stir in saucepan for 5 minutes.
Add a few drops of food coloring, if desired.
This wet, messy paste takes a while to dry.
Papier-Mache Paste

Materials

1 cup water
1/4 cup flour
5 cups lightly boiling water
Large saucepan
Directions

Mix flour into 1 cup water until mixture is thin and runny.
Stir this mixture into lightly boiling water.
Gently boil and stir 2-3 minutes.
Cool before using.
No-Cook Paste

Materials

Bowl
1/2 cup flour
Water
Salt
Directions

In bowl, mix flour with enough water to make a mixture that's gooey, but not runny.
Add a pinch of salt; stir.

So yes, not only have I mastered it's cooking, I can also state with professional experience that it is the most bland, vile and disagreeable lump of shit ever devised for human consumption. Kindly avoid telling me otherwise, as I do tend to know what I'm talking about on the subject. If you happen to enjoy it, then congratulations. Fresh tofu is a treat that most of us have never had the pleasure of experiencing. Far from being "tasteless", it has the delicate flavor of, say, ricotta cheese. But it loses flavor with each day, so enjoy some right away, if you can! You'll be surprised at how delicious your fresh tofu is on the day it's made! And you'll be so proud of this achievement!

I would like to thank Brenda for writing these very clear instructions for us, and giving us the benefit of her experience-- she makes fresh tofu several times a week. And the photos are such a help! Thank you Brenda for all your work! (PS: Brenda has further tweaked her directions to make this procedure even easier for us!)

I've said this before, and it bears repeating:

Sammy Hagar is much like tofu. He has no real flavor of his own to contribute to a dish, and merely sucks up the flavors of others, thus diluting anything he is added to. Just say no to tofu.

As per usual, you have no idea what you are talking about, particularly regarding a professionally run kitchen. Even changing the water it is packaged in, tofu goes bad in less than three days. Due to the amount used in our recipes daily, we needed to acquire the junk in bulk. And for freshness, we did in fact purchase it from local manufacturers.

He was discovered and, uh, chased out of the way pretty quickly. Normally I wouldn't put much weight behind the story, but I've got every good reason to trust the guy.

He ran into him again in the late 80s at a Vinnie Vincent invasion show and apparently Vinnie straight up admitted to him that, as soon as it was found out by Gene that he didn't have opposition to men, Gene's rather indistinct reason behind firing Vinnie for "immoral behavior" or whatever gets a lot more clarity.

So Paul Stanley Eisen can look at other guys cocks in the mens room and say "Nice dick" to them, but Vinnie got canned for being gay? Haven't heard anything so ridiculous since a band of alcoholics named Def Leppard fired their guitarist for drinking too much.

In all fairness, wasn't Stanley being sarcastic (as in "you have small penis!")?

And Vinnie might be bi or whatever, but I doubt that's why he was fired from KI$$. I've heard other stories about him being a mental case dick and really difficult to work with. I think his career sort of is a testament to that actually...

During a boring drunken night we decided to go see the VV invasion.......pink fuzz covered Marshal amps/cabs, thigh high S&M boots, stripper gloves and more makeup than a gutter slut could ever afford but I never would of thought he was bisexual.......gay yes, bisexual no;)

Wouldn't be much of a shock either way. Dude has always given off a faggy vibe. Probably only made it into KISS in the first place because he was simultaneously able to feltch Stanley AND make Stanley look more masculine at the same time...no easy feat, btw.

Guitar-wise, Vincent is along the lines of Nigel Tufnel, minus the parody.

I never saw or heard why he was ever considered a choice guitarist in the first place. He can play very fast but his tone and phrasing are both horrible

Actually, when I saw him on the Creatures tour with Kiss, he was playing Mesa Boogies - and one of the first Jackson Rhoads models (a gold sparkle one with pinstripes, rumor had it that it was the Floyd Rose equipped-one RR was waiting on at the time of his passing) - his sound (though he WAS having issues with his wireless that night) was amazing, and his playing wasn't all over the place yet. He kicked ass. We were like "I don't know who this guy they replaced Ace with is, but he's BAD-ASS..." There's a King Biscuit show floating around out there I've heard that supports my memory...it wasn't until the "Invasion" era that he started playing completely silly, and even then he had some moments...I remember the solo on "Back on the Streets" being pretty cool...

Only saw him once. Opening for Iron Maiden in 1986 on the Somewhere in Time tour. A world record PA setup......INDOOR PA system was 185,000 watts. LOUDER THAN 1000 MOTORHEAD SHOWS PUT TOGETHER!

Christ it was loud. They obviously did not care if Vinnie Vincent Invasion cranked it up, but it sounded like shit. When Nicko took his drum solo, I seized the opportunity to go out to the concourse for a coke. Got it and was walking along and here comes Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum. I welcomed them to Wichita (dubious honor at best), and Mark asked me how it sounded.

I was pretty honest. I said it sounded like crap in part due to the extreme volume, but also the Kansas Coliseum is not noted for good sound. He seemed sorta disappointed at my opinion, and I said "Look, it coulda been worse, but the volume was so fucking extreme there was no way to get any clarity! It sounded like a massive roar with blasts of thunder from the bass and drums, and some high shrieking going on over the top from yourself....".

I then said "Excuse me but I want to get back to seeing Maiden, but congrats on your success and I hope you have even more luck!"

Mark was cool. Dana was cool. It was nice to have that conversation even though I did not have a positive review for them.

One of these days when I run into Mark again, I will ask him about that tour. He lives just south of Nashville, and I have some mutual friends.

I made my way 3 feet from Vinnie. He was playing his sig. model Jackson through 3 stacks of Boogies (IIRC). He's a tiny little dude who actually made Paul Stanley seem like Rambo, in comparison,. After three or four songs, I'd pretty much had seen enough
And proceeded to harass V.V. for picks the rest of the show. He probably handed me 10 picks throughout the show in hopes of shutting me up. I made it my mission to be the most annoying person he'd met in Toronto that night.

A message from former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent about his recent TMZ headline arrest.

Dear Everyone,

I want to thank the many people who sent their well wishes to me through this very hurting time. There is much to say to all of you but the most important thing for me to let you know is that what you have been reading is not true. Irresponsible reporting and fabrication of events that never happened destroys peoples' lives, and that is exactly what has happened. It's very unfortunate we live in times where you're guilty even if you're innocent, but it's the way of the world now.

It's also sad to me that not only do the media get away with publishing unsubstantiated sensationalized reports that are then taken as "the truth," but people now routinely hide behind their computers and usernames to intentionally inflict enormous damage without consequence, all for their own amusement. What they don't know is the pain they cause will always be greater than their fabrication or exaggeration.

About my precious dogs:

My dogs and cat have been, are and will always be the most important thing in my whole life. I love them more than my words can say. I look at dogs and cats as "perfect little people" with loving and unconditional hearts that I believe God gifted to us to help comfort us through our lives, which always seems to be filled with pain in one way or another. I have 20 dogs that were rescued since 1999 from unspeakable and horrible abuse. I never turned my back or said no if a dog or cat needed a loving home. Each one of them is spoiled rotten; great food, love, comfort, care and shelter. They never leave my side and sit with me when I watch videos or when I play my guitar, the sound of which seems to fascinate them.

Out of my twenty dogs, half of them are big dogs and the others are small. Fencing was put up to separate the big dogs from the little ones who could roam without any problem. One day, without my knowing, some of the big dogs accidently got loose somehow and killed three of my babies. When I found out it was too late. I was shattered and just too devastated for words. I still am and always will be. I will never get over it and I will always live with a pain greater than that of anything I had ever known or ever will know. I wrapped them each in blankets and laid them to rest in "caskets" where I made a cross and wrote the words to "Danny Boy" on their casket.

The weather had been pretty bad here for awhile and an excavator was planned to come the property to dig up the ground so I could give them a proper burial when this terrible thing happened.
I only hope someday we'll be together and I can watch them once again run in the meadows under the deep blue skies. :turninggay:
As for the despicable reports regarding my beloved dogs, those who know me know I would never harm any animal as they are God's most beautiful and innocent of creations. I'm a vegetarian because of my respect for all animals.

For those of you who wrongfully accused and judged me based on these "stories" I understand because I would feel the same way if it was the truth. But it's not the truth. So, to all who perpetuated these cruel and vicious lies may the truth bring you to your senses so you can stop these terrible and unfounded accusations.

About the domestic situation:

As you must know, this is a private matter that I cannot comment on at this time. Please don't believe everything you read. I would never hurt anyone-ever. What has been reported is an absolutely inaccurate depiction of the events that occurred that evening. When it's time the truth will be known. In all, God gave me a silver lining to this terrible time by putting a long lost family back together through this tragedy and for that, it was worth what I am going thru. Unfortunately this "incident" caused my loved ones, who suffered through another emotionally devastating experience, to suffer a new burden they didn't need to bear. As much as they are hurting for me and from this, they're still there for me. I am a lucky person.

I'm an immensely private person and these events have caused me great pain and emotional anguish. I am requesting that you respect my privacy and that of my family during this difficult time and not engage in harmful useless gossip posted on blogs and forums.

My Music:

It has been my greatest desire to put out my new music including remixed/remastered tracks that I am very proud of which many of you seem to enjoy, but I have experienced setbacks that hindered and delayed my plans. I am hoping to work through it all and get back on track. I would appreciate it if you could please bear with me.

I had a friend who worked for the local radio station when the VV invasion played my hometown opening for Alice Cooper in....'87 I think? But anyway, since my teenage band was momentarily the shit-hot thing in town, through him we weaseled our way backstage and got to meet the band (as well as some of the guys from AC...might have met Kip, can't remember...in retrospect should've tried harder to meet Alice LOL) they wanted to meet local rock musicians for whatever reason, but I remember Mark Slaughter, Dana Strumm and Bobby Rock being funny and cool as shit, and Vinnie being really nervous seemingly, not to say he wasn't a nice guy too. he was...but he asked (as the local guitar head) me how his sound was that night, and I told him he sounded great but he'd sounded better with Kiss despite the wireless issues he was having in '83...he told me he was using Boogies with Kiss, and by that time he was using modded Marshalls (which also sounded way good!) but had 'em hidden behind a fake, pink ...Carvin IIRC wall o' cabinets backline. He said he worked his amp endorsement deal so he could use anything he wanted as long as it LOOKED like he was using their shit...savvy businessman for a second there...LMAO!

In hindsight, betting his Marshall tone would have been a way better rival to his Kiss-era tone IMHO had he NOT been using the TWO (2) EMG preamp circuits he told me he was using, boosting his pickup's signal to insane levels before it ever hit the amp...holy crap...imagine Zakk's tone on acid...

Maybe more than you or I realized...
Had no idea why at the time (or even had made the Dana Strumm/Ozzy connection then, either), but Dana pulled me aside and told me to send him a tape "if you're as good as everyone around here says you are"...which I never got around to doing...:duh: later when I heard he was the guy that discovered Randy and Jake (and that they were on the verge of bailing on VV at the time), I was like "SHIT!!!" :lmao:

I mean, I might have sent one to him and got a "Don't quit your day job" response back, but we'll never know...

This has to be one of the most bizarre press releases in the history of the entertainment industry. When was the last time an artist (or anyone else for that matter) made a statement that included denials of animal and spousal abuse, mentions the weather, vegetarianism and privacy, but still manages to get in plugs for his music, web site, Youtube page and his latest signature model guitar? He then includes the statement "Please don't believe everything you read."

Ummm...OK, does that include this very press release? http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/smileys/free-confused-smileys-718.gif (http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/facebook-smileys.html)

Spot on! A fleshlight™ is a lot more pleasurable & less embarrassing than a VV CD.

Although I don't really own any VV... wait... are you trying to tell us that you bought a fleshlight™?

Good choice, at your age it's guaranteed to last a lifetime & you should be able to keep it clean for weeks on end, so there's hardly any fuss. :)

What a strange career he must have...I mean, not trying to be mocking or cruel here, but does the guy even play live anymore? If so, it must be very low key, like literally to crowds of a few hundred at most...why would any company even WANT to launch a Vinnie Vincent guitar in the year 2011? It made some sense in the 1980s, but does Vinnie Vincent have a sizable cult following these days?
