There is an interactive map showing the paths of these two comets. You can move the dates forward or backwards, tilt the map of the solar system.
There are a buncha people starting the usual doomsday predictions, etc.
Least of which is NASA, which has issued a "Family Preparedness Memo" to all it's employees.

Regardless of whether we are fucked, as an amateur astronomer, it oughta be an amazing sight!
I for one will be taking a lot of images of the sky over that period. For one thing, Comet Honda is going to be closest Aug. 18-19 they say, but it still is going to be visible for many weeks before and after. And, the Perseids meteor shower (one of the top meteor showers each year) will peak the week before.
So it is going to be interesting for all the skywatchers in the world.
