Post links to your fave live webcam. NO, NOT THAT KIND!

I mean, some live streaming camera overlooking a beach, or in some kind of public establishment, or city or streetcorner or something. Make it a webcam that is on 24/7.

Here is a cool one - the crosswalk at Abbey Road Studios in London - 24/7:

Another cool one - (or three) - Africams.....24/7 monitoring of African watering holes, and these cams have night vision and stereo audio:

I have been to Daytona Bike Week and had some friends who worked at Froggy's ( a large bar) and the coolest thing ev'a was , one year I wasn't there, my bud said at a certain time he and his wife and some friends would go to the camera and wave to me ( at home in KC) and one of the chicks showed her tits.

This was in the late 1990's when it was all kinda new to live feed online as a advert for a business. I was amazed.

Live infront of my naked steaming eyes...lol.

I dig watching the Sturgis Bike Week ( never been to) cams at, The Buffalo Chip or The Full Throttle .
I posted some addy's one year here in a Sturgis thread.

It is especially cool if you cannot travel there and at 9 am in the morning you can watch some lonely hung over dude mopping the floor getting ready for the new days activities. ( that would probably be me trying to pay my bar tab, HAVE MOP WILL TRAVEL)..lol.

The only bad thing about this style of technology is the same cams are on street lights computer clocking and writing speeding tickets..leave it to the city council to pervert ..a good thing.

Cool thread as usual HR.

This is a pretty cool site that features a database of links collecting nearly 1,500 webcams from around the world. I found this place while looking for the one (featured on Myth Busters) of the world's longest working light bulb.

Apes at the San Diego Zoo....

You know what sucks...and is a little weird to me. I am a San Diego native and haven't been to the Zoo in 20+ years. Sure, I went there & Sea World a lot when I was a kid. Either school trips or grandparents taking us for the day. but since I turned 16 ish or so and pretty much began controlling what I did with my time, I just never went back. And I loved those places. You take your local attractions for granted. I think I'm gonna plan a trip.

Anyone else have something really cool in their hometown that you know about...but for some reason you just never do it?

People visit the San Diego Zoo from all over the world...and there are people that live within walking distance of the place and have never been.:(
