It does, actually.

Have been hankering to see a movie in the theaters for awhile now, but can only lower my standards so much...I mean, I ain't gonna sit through some Kevin James piece of shit just so I can enjoy the asthetics of the cinema experience, but a Planet of the Apes movie might just do the trick.

Out of the entire Planet of the Apes series Rise has the most complex and compelling story line or has the potential to!

I'm going to see this one.

Just finished watching it. Very good flick. Not great but very good. Decent story line .
Nice to see it wasn't about spaceships n shit. The next one is gonna be very cool. They set the ending up perfectly.
Save yourself 15 bucks and download it....

This was one of the rare times I've walked out of the theatre afterward feeling like I got my moneys worth.
Storyline was tight, technology was used properly and not overdone, and it just delivered on all levels.
It put Burtons 2001 version completely to shame...it just fucking buried it.

How the hell can anyone NOT like a movie where cops are getting the shit beat out of them?

Excellent flick!
