Great Southern Land is somewhat of an anthem in Oz.

I like Velvet Revolver its a great "Fuck you" to AXL.
He cant even release an album. Time to swallow your
physcopathic pride AXL... The gunners could be happening,
this album proves it beyond doubt..

I'd say the trick is not to look in the high-end record stores. Check out the CD-racks in some mall, or something.

The Sheik Yerbouti Album by Frank Zappa.

Here are the lyrics to one of the songs on it.....

I Have Been In You - Frank Zappa

I have been in you, baby
And you
Have been in me
And we
Have be
So intimately
Entwined
And it sure was fine

I have been in you, baby
And you
Have been in me
And so you see
We
Have be so together
I thought that we would never
Return from forever
Return from forever
Return from forever...

You
Have been in me
And understandably
I have been in 'n' outa you
An' everywhere
You want me to
Yes, you know it's true

And while
I was inside
I mighta been
Undignified
And that is maybe
Why you cried
I don't know
Maybe so,
But what's the difference now?

I have been in you, baby
You have been in me
Aw' little girl, there ain't no time
To wash yer stinky hand
Go 'head 'n' roll over
I'm goin' in you again
In you again
In you again
In you again...

I'm goin' in you again-ahhh
In you again, ah!
In you again - ahhh
In you again, ah!
In you again - ahhh
In you again, ah!
In you again - ahhh
In you again, ah!

I'm going in you again, baby
'N' can go in me too,
That's true
I'm goin' in you again, baby
'N' later when we get through
I'm goin' in you again - ahh
In you again, ah!
In you again - ahhh
In you again, ah!
In you again - ahhh
In you again, ah!
In you again - ahhh

:)

I grew up loving the Crue...However, if you were only listening to the radio and a Crue song came on, the most identifiable part of the song was Vince's voice.

Corabi, while a tremendous singer, ended up sounding like everyone else once he joined Motley.

It's a shame too. His original band, The Scream was absolutely incredible!

That may be true but you have to admit that musically that was there best. Seemed like the new singer made them play better..

It was nice change, knowing that it was still the same musicians and bringing that heavy sound. I thought that maybe they would survive without Vince.

Welcome To The Numb, Misunderstood, Uncle Jack, Til Death Do Us Part, Poison Apples, all good shit.

Of course bringing him back and putting out Generation Swine was a downer, that album just stunk IMO.

I think Corabi, after a short stint in Ratt (where I was hoping for the same change into a heavier band) is in a band being produced by Sixx, though the name escapes me at the moment.

It's a shame these guys got lumped in with synth pop. They definately used the technology of the times but, the compositions were structured and rich.

The musical substance detracts from the technology. When strong melody and lyrical content hit the heart, thru the medium:The shit is timeless.

"stand or fall" "it's my life" (which "no doubt" did not improve upon)

Accept..

Reckless and Wild and Balls to the Wall..
Some cool riffs in that shit.. I thought they were just ok
(bit of an AC/DC ripoff) when they first came out, but
after not listening to them for ten years, Im digging it now.
Also a few old priest albums... Rocka Rolla, British Steel...

Trivial fact: Accept (who were german and didnt speak english very well) had a woman write most of their lyrics. Poor old Udo probably didnt know what he was singing about half the time. Great riffs. Balls to the Wall has a great rif in it..
