Excellent!

I typed a few names and it would give the recipe for a single drink, and I was thinking it was just a random thing, where they hadn't really put drinks together with the music in any kind of well-thought out way - but when you input Van Halen, the result comes back as "1 Bottle of Jack Daniels"

A whole bottle. Well, I'm too mature these days, of course, to let that kind of thing influence me ...

It is, after all, the weekend and I have work to catch up on ...

Type in 'Brian Eno' and it comes back with 'The Brian Eno' = 8oz water, serve neat.

hahaha. Funny stuff.

The Smiths = 1 Bottle of Buckfast!!

Wha? I haven't heard of that poison for at least a generation. Are there many Smiths fans in Lanarkshire ... supposedly the biggest market for Buckie. Chocolate soup.

The seem to just advocate massive shots of vodka served mostly neat for many bands such as U2, I shall take this under consideration...

I'm not buying that. The obvious answer to drink when listening to U2 would be Guinness. Or maybe Jameson's Irish Whiskey.

The Doors = 1oz LSD. serve on rocks, stir quickly. Garnish with grapefruit.

What the Hell? I typed in The Osmonds and I was expecting the answer to be milk and it suggested Canadian Club whiskey. I don't see the connection. The Osmonds aren't even Canadian and they don't drink.

Now that inspired me to type in Mormon Tabernacle Choir and it suggested Miller High Life. ?????? I guess MoTab drives you to drink cheap beer.

I noticed that some bands you wouldn't exactly expect have been wrecking hotels in their heydey would be best accompanied by Bud Light, or something else thatt wouldn't get you out of it.

It seems random at times, but then other times it seems quite spot on.

Look up Black Sabbath. JD and ice cream!

Like Rush.

Although something like Molson Light(if there is such a thing) would maybe make more sense.

The correct answer, of course, would be Polygamy Porter....

They were running ads in Utah that advertised that stuff that said a beer so good you just couldn't have just one. I haven't tried that one but St. Provo Girl is nice. It's like Spattenbrau.

Yeah, I saw that one earlier. It does sound like something Ozzy might have actually tried, but I think I'll pass.

Weirdest thing I ever put on ice cream was Apple Jacks cereal, and that's only because me and the girlfriend were really baked at the time. And the Apple Jacks were appropriate, since it was 8:30 in the morning.

I met Rush during the Signals tour. I actually thought Neil Peart was part of the road crew and didn't even know it was him until I saw him wearing the same Montreal Expos hat behind the drum kit. Geddy looked tired. Alex is a wildman. That guy is really funny and he was driving the tour bus around the venue parking lot going around the lamp posts like it was some kind of course. I just got done reading Ace Frehley's book and Ace said Alex was funny as shit. Neil and Geddy seem dull but Alex was just the opposite.

Don’t listen to The Cars alone. We suggest…
“THE CARS”

6 oz. Cocaine
Serve neat.

Well, actually since this is a drinking site, maybe the "cocaine" they're referring to isn't really the powder from the BCE's Colombian plantation, but the horribly named Red Bull clone that was marketed a couple of years ago....

http://www.cocaine-drink.com/cocaine-drink.jpg

Not a trace of actual cocaine in it, not even the neutered leaves like Coca Cola. Just a shit load of caffeine....
