The band called The Black Satans was born in the summer of 2005 when Klitors, Heijargh and Naamos were on a cruise ship. The guys got a glorious drunken idea to form a true Norwegian black metal band. Years went by, and the band hardly progressed at all. Later Masturbørg joined the band because of pity and he became the singing and dancing vocalist of The Black Satans. Still very little was done to advance the band. Then, in the late 2008 the Black Satans sold their souls to Timo Tolkki in order to get this piece of shit done. This is true Norwegian black metal from Finland. The Black Satans.

Man, I love that stuff, particularly in the wine sauce. Too bad that like Hebrew National dogs (and just about everything else in the supermarket's kosher end cap), it has skyrocketed in price in only the past couple of years. It used to be priced at a value, now it's almost a luxury.

I never had the bottled stuff at the store but ate plenty in Norway. It's a staple there.

Hebrew National's quality has gone downhill since ConAgra bought them. The hot dogs and salami aren't as good. Our neighbors were Jewish and every Christmas/Hanikah season they would give us a big Hebrew National salami. Man I loved that stuff when they still made it in The Bronx. I occasionally order a salami from Kat'z Delicatessen but as you say, the good kosher stuff has gotten very expensive.
