Assuming the local Republican party doesn't play the Diebolding game and actually let the people vote, how will the first official primary of 2012 turn out?

Romney - Claims to be from a neighboring state. That worked in Judas IsKerryot's favor in 2004.

Santorum - New Hampshire has a huge Catholic population, but will they vote for a crazy Catholic?

Paul - Will Republicans in the "Live Free or Die" state pick the Libertarian populist over the "moderate" corporatist, or the religious wackjob.

Newt - Does he really have a snowball's chance in Hell here?

Perry - He's pretty much already conceded that he's getting nothing here and is counting on the Bob Jones University crowd in South Carolina to keep him in the game.

Huntsman - The only semi-rational Republican skipped Iowa to put all his hopes in New Hampshire. Will it pay off for him?

I guess I'll say Santorum with the upset. Fuck I'm not sure who to pull for at this point.

Imagine the google fun of an eventual Romney-Santorum ticket... "MittenFroth 2012" :lmao: Don't think it'll happen, they seem to genuinely dislike each other, but it'd be a comedy goldmine - and more assurance Obama wins re-election in a landslide...

It would be a ridiculously funny ticket, but I don't see the Repukes going for two NorthEasterners on the ticket. The Southern fundagelicals would have a collective massive coronary.

Romney in a landslide...

Romney.

Perhaps not by a landslide, but by far more than 8 votes, at any rate.

Like, if Mittens DOESN'T win NH, he's got problems, because I don't see things being ANY easier for him in South Carolina or Florida vs. New Hampshire; if he CAN'T win NH easily, what primary COULD he win going forward - talking constituencies/ types of voters likely to pull a lever for Mittens (it would seem natural to say there were far more of those types in NH than South Carolina or Florida).

Huntsman COULD potentially do much better in NH than polling indicates, but I doubt it will be enough to spark a surge.

I don't expect him to win, but Ron Paul's NH poll numbers jumped 7% today!

The whole republican primary is rigged anyway. IMO, a bunch of corporate elitist scum have already chosen Romney.

I think Ron Paul has a shot of winning the precincts that actually vote with real ballots. Funny how there's always a different result in New Hampsire between the real vote precincts, and the Diebold electro-fraud precincts.

Of course New Hampshire is home to the Libertarian commune known as "Free Keene" which might give Ron Paul an edge.

Dixville Notch Primary Results: First Votes Cast In New Hampshire Election

First Posted: 1/10/12 12:07 AM ET Updated: 1/10/12 12:35 AM ET

Residents in the small town of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire were the first to cast ballots in the state's presidential primary election just after midnight on Tuesday.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman each won 2 votes of the 9 cast in the contest. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) each received 1 vote. Three Democratic ballots were cast for President Barack Obama.

According to the Associated Press, the group of 9 registered voters in Dixville Notch comprised three Republicans, two Democrats and four undeclared voters.

Dixville Notch has voted first in the state's primary election since 1960. Town clerk Rick Erwin told Granite State-based station WMUR ahead of the contest, "It's great that they respect the tradition."

Voters in Hart's Location also cast ballots in the contest shortly after midnight. Here's a rundown of the results:

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney received 5 votes, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) received 4, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman received 2, while Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich each secured one vote.

HuffPost's Mark Blumenthal reports on the latest polls out on the race for the Republican presidential nomination in New Hampshire:

Four new polls released over the weekend continue to show Mitt Romney heading for a comfortable victory in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary, with some uncertainty remaining about the ultimate size of that margin and the race for second through fifth place. All four polls show increasing support for former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, with some suggesting that Huntsman might close in on Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) for second place.

The four new surveys differed in their methods and timing, and perhaps as a result, showed slightly varying levels of support for former Massachusetts Gov. Romney. The polls -- conducted by the University of New Hampshire and WMUR; Suffolk University and 7News; the Democratic Party-affiliated firm Public Policy Polling and the American Research Group -- estimated Romney's support between 35 and 41 percent of the likely primary voter. They also gave him leads over his nearest competitors ranging from 15 to 24 percentage points.

The two polls that tracked opinions over the course of the week showed slight declines for Romney. Romney was down two and five points respectively on the University of New Hampshire and Suffolk University surveys, compared to surveys conducted earlier in the week.

So total results, so far.....

Mittens - 7
Huntsman - 4
Paul - 5
Newt - 2
Perry - 1

Always interesting to see how these tiny towns vote (early at midnight)

Early returns from New Hampshire (only 3% reporting, so these are obviously going to change)

Mittens - 37 %
Paul - 25 %
Huntsman - 15%
Newt - 12 %
Man on dog - 10 %
Chimp 2.0 - 1 %

Still sticking with my prediction that Romney takes the Diebold precincts, and Paul takes the precincts where votes are actually counted.

Polygamist dog abuser already declared "winner". His so called victory speech can be summed up in the following soundbite:

I want to repeal Obamacare, stop joblessness, and go back to a time when you weren't afraid to look at the price at the gas pump, or the balance in your retirement account

Ummmm... Mitt?

YOUR party is to blame for all of that, and YOU PERSONALLY are repsonsible for the first two.

Fucking hypocrite.

Somehow, I don't see Mittens as a job creator.

I see him as following the typical conservative line, which dictates that government isn't responsible for creating jobs re: the private sector.

Fair enough if that's what one believes. If so, just say it.
