POTRERO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in California say a 33-year-old San Diego County woman has been killed by a cannonball fired by her husband and another man.
U-T San Diego (http://bit.ly/xllWgA ) reports the woman was found dead at about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday after the ball slammed into her home at the Twin Lakes Resort mobile home park in Potrero, a tiny community near the Mexican border.
Her name hasn't been released.
State fire Capt. Mike Mohler says the men told authorities they were working on the cannon nearby when it went off. Mohler says one man was treated at a hospital for injuries he suffered when the cannon went off.

9 out of 10 pirates recommend unloading your cannons before attempting to work on them.
I'm sure the phrase, "Hold my beer", was uttered before it went off.
Clearly more cannonball laws could have prevented this.
Don't you people just believe in divorce anymore?
Sad, but you know you are a redneck when you kill someone in their mobile home with a cannonball.
This sounds like such a cartoonish way to kill someone. Is her husband named Wile E. Coyote?
Great, now the gun control crowd are going to want to take away my cannon.
When cannon's are outlawed, only outlaws will have cannons
I'm getting a concealed cannon license.

Cannons don't kill people; balls do.
way to ruin things for us responsible cannon owners....
You would think the Trailer Park homeowners association would have rules against firing a cannon ball into your wife.
That is very sad. It reminds me of the time my wife was killed by a flying piano I launched with my trebuchet.
"Here , hold my beer while i light this thing "
Still better to have a cannon and not need it, then to need a cannon and not have one
Lesson to all - never marry someone who owns a cannon.
This is a really sad story, and the guilt that man will have to live the rest of his life with (especially if they have children) is unmeasurable. Yet, even with all of this...I now cannot get the 1812 Overture out of my head.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
"Working " on a loaded cannon at Midnight???? Surely there was no alchohol involved in this scenario!!
