A lot of country singers may well pander to their conservative audience with religious songs, but I don't think that applies to Johnny. He was a no bullshit kinda guy who openly admitted his own flaws as a human being. And some of his best professions of his faith were in the songs that weren't in the typical countryfied gospel mode, like his signature song about his wardrobe....

Seems that Petra recently reunited with their "classic" lineup.

Greg X. Volz always had one of the best voices in music (Christian or otherwise) and he still does, even though he's gotta be in his 60's by now. The rest of the band sounds as good as ever too, even though they are showing their age, and I'm pretty sure guitarist Bob Hartman is wearing a rug.

Guess there's something to be said for NOT doing drugs, after all
