The Bankers Manifesto of 1892
by laurabruno
I discovered this little gem by following a link from Freedom Reigns County Project to an example of a County Relocalization Project in Ohio. Their site quotes from something called The Bankers Manifesto of 1892, which seems to be playing out like clockwork again, especially with the "housing crisis" and the bogus 2-party political system:

"People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.

"The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.

"By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete actions, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished."

The quoted portions jumped out at me enough to see if I could find the full Bankers Manifesto of 1892, and I found it here. Thanks to Federal Observer Articles for posting the following in its entirety. I report it here in hopes of shining a little more light for those people still convinced that knee-jerk Democrat or Republican support will somehow resolve the money issues tearing apart our country and our lives. The bankers' choice really comes down to one option: "Obamney." It's not unlike Matrix movie viewers convinced they're so smart by choosing "the red pill" over "the blue pill," not even considering that they could opt for no pill, a purple pill, or something completely outside the pillbox! Opening your eyes to reality doesn't need to look tragic, and there are far more diverse options in this world than "Zion."

If you, or people you know have trouble believing "conspiracy theories" that the banksters run both political parties in order to keep people divided and distracted, then you might find it interesting that the Banker Manifesto of 1892 explicitly advises: "Capital must protect itself in every possible manner through combination (conspiracy) and legislation." Here's the full document:

The Bankers Manifesto of 1892

Revealed by US Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh, SR from Minnesota before the US Congress sometime during his term of office between the years of 1907 and 1917 to warn the citizens.

"We (the bankers) must proceed with caution and guard every move made, for the lower order of people are already showing signs of restless commotion. Prudence will therefore show a policy of apparently yielding to the popular will until our plans are so far consummated that we can declare our designs without fear of any organized resistance.

The Farmers Alliance and Knights of Labor organizations in the United States should be carefully watched by our trusted men, and we must take immediate steps to control these organizations in our interest or disrupt them.

At the coming Omaha Convention to be held July 4th (1892), our men must attend and direct its movement, or else there will be set on foot such antagonism to our designs as may require force to overcome. This at the present time would be premature. We are not yet ready for such a crisis. Capital must protect itself in every possible manner through combination (conspiracy) and legislation.

The courts must be called to our aid, debts must be collected, bonds and mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible.

When through the process of the law, the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and easily governed through the influence of the strong arm of the government applied to a central power of imperial wealth under the control of the leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders.

History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.

The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.

By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expand their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete action, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished."

Thanks again to Federal Observer for sharing relevant historical documents!

Nothing has changed but now the bankers own the central bank, have most the politicians in their back pocket and the voting base is as dumb as ever.

Chasing ghosts. Our borders have been wide open since 2001. If anyone wanted to come in and do their worst they really could. I'm not buying the whole terrorist fear mongering because of this simple fact. Who has done the most damage to the American people in the last decade has been the bankers and their political cronies. The real terrorists reside on Wall Street and in Washington DC. Nobody in Saudi Arabia voted to take my rights away, is making me pay for their bailout, or threatening to lock me up with no du process. Nobody in Iran has taken my money and harassed me.

Are you suggesting that there has been a 120 year conspiracy within the banking system; or, that patterns and problem in financial markets repeat themselves?

Some of the biggest banks in the world are family enterprises and history repeats itself so both would be the case.

The Rothschild Group being probably the most famous.

Then you have the old Chase (Rockefeller) commercial bank merged with JP Morgan (an investment bank). It used to be illegal to merge investment and commercial banks due to all the inside trade shenanigans that can happen but now it isn't.
