I know people in North America love their hunting but this is nuts.

Information for Hunters with Disabilities, Permits

Information and applications for all the following are available at DNR Operations Service Centers.

Legally blind hunters may use laser sighting devices to take game, subject to all other regulations, with a firearm or crossbow if all the following conditions are met:

The person is accompanied by a sighted person who is at least 18 years of age;

The sighted person possesses proof of a current or previous hunting license (other than an apprentice license) or proof of successful completion of a hunter safety class;

The legally blind person possesses the appropriate hunting license and proof of impairment in the form of a Secretary of State ID card.

No permit is necessary for this accommodation.

It goes on to say that a blind person in a wheelchair who has lost an arm can hunt with a bow.

What could possibly go wrong?

I'm guessing the NRA have quite a say in Michigan... :)

I'm trying to picture how a one armed guy could possibly shoot a bow and arrow. Either the traditional kind or a modern crossbow, it's not exactly a one handed job.

Legally blind? Well I guess that's where the AK-47s come in. Fire off 100 rounds at some poor creature, and one or two bullets might actually hit the target.

With crazy things like this going on, I'd guess that Nugent moved back from Texas?

Green Arrow managed to pull this of in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns by using his teeth. Of course, this precludes the fact that Superman (as a puppet for the then Reagan government) wound up in a to-the-death battle with Batman (who happened to be wearing an electric suit tethered to a power pole).

Superman even looks a little bit like Reagan (on steroids) in that picture. Pass the Kryptonite jelly beans.

probably requires more effort than expended by the people that use the flying death machines to hunt down people abroad.
