Jeff Beck is a man among children when armed with a Strat and a Marshall. That dude has notes on his guitar that exist nowhere else!!!
Not exactly a lyrical masterpiece from Mick. Doubt he put a lot of thought into it, but having heard decades of Stones boots, I know for a fact that the first draft of his lyrics often aren't the best, and they're usually refined quite a bit before they make it to the record.
But Jeff Beck definitely saves the day here.

Yep, Beck rules it...and Jaggy's just jealous he doesn't have a cute super-talented 23 yr-old chick playing bass for him...

lol. I noticed her some time ago on TV. She's cute but her hair is kinda finger in the light socket on that clip. I can't believe she is only 23. Damn.

Mick should stay away from political lyrics. He's been in the 1% for most of his life, but wants to stay hip with all his left-leaning buddies.
Just be Mick Jagger for fuck-sakes. Leave that stuff to Bob and the Boss; they're better at it anyway.
Highwire (written during Poppy Bush's Iraq War 1.0) was much better....

Beck was obviously influenced by Albert Collins.
