Perfume. Which one do you like/use?

I know I am probably posting this at the wrong forum, but what the hell.. You only live once, right?

Perfume is my big passion. I LOVE nice smells. I can sometimes crave the scent of a certain perfume. I know I probably should be asking this at the Cosmo message board or something, but I don't hang out there. And it's more emotional to me then just on Cosmo level.

Which ones do you guys use and like?

I have two absolute favorite male perfumes. They are like lady-Viagra to me.

The absolute favorite, double dose of lady-Viagra is Touch for men by Burberry. It is described like this:Touch for Men by Burberry is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men. Touch for Men was launched in 2000. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Pierre Bethouart. Top notes are artemisia, violet leaf and mandarin orange; middle notes are nutmeg, white pepper and cedar; base notes are tonka bean, vetiver and white musk.
I don't know what else to say, I can smell it miles away and most likely find the guy who's wearing it :D

The other one is Bvlgari Black. It's amazing. It smells like smoke, leather, wood, vanilla, leather, leather, leather, rubber... It is SO sexy and masculine. I really LOVE it!!

I've bought that a few times before. Really great stuff. The only other thing I like to be old school is a bottle of Old Spice original. Rarely use it and if/when I do it's very sparingly. But I wear it more for myself just cause I dig the scent. Reminds of my dad or grandad or something when we'd go hunting or fishing.

It's not the nice smells that's the problem, it's the chemicals used to achieve those scents, and for some people with extreme allergies to said chemicals, can be very dangerous.

Biggest problem is that most people don't know how to wear scents and they pour so much on that it's overpowering.

There's a girl at work does that, even though we have a no scent policy. I don't know what's in that shit, but my eyes swell up and I start endlessly sneezing the second she walks into the room. If she sits too close to me I can barely breathe. I've never complained to anyone about it though.

Yep... I got counseled for using Merry Christmas at work once. Was told as a manager, I should use the term "Winter Celebration" so as not to offend anyone. I just laughed... informed him that I hate winter so that term is offensive to me. Then asked does your family celebrate Christmas or do y'all hate Santa Claus and the Easter bunny?

Then I said look... being in management is tough enough and many times I'm forced to sugar-coat BS and talk out of both sides of my mouth. It's hard enough to maintain any sense of credibility with employees as it is. Forcing me to alter a life time tradition of celebrating Christmas because a few people don't celebrate it is just another way to undermine trust by being fake in front of people who already think we're hoodwinking and screwing them daily... I chose to be real for this one!! They got the message...

3 months after I started working in a shoe store I counted my shoes and I had about 60 pairs. And since then I have been working there for 5 years. And count that every month you buy a couple of shoes. It's embaressing. I want to ask my dad to help me put up another shelf in the wardrobe, but I don't want him to see how many shoes I've got. And I hardly walk at all.

About twenty ish years ago my mate was high up in a uk travel firm and he was sent to agadir in morocco as a gift from work he had to take his partner after some wrangling and expalnation of seperate beds i got a free holiday in morocco ( one of 3-4 in total) i used to do a bit of fishing off the the north coast so when we got the oppotunity to go shark fishing took it up .. i know its bit of a no no now .... didnt some bloke get one and it was a big un .. sure it was a bull shark but its a long time ago and there are a lot of brain cells down the river since then .
To cut along story short i was absolutley shiting myself when they got it on the boat ... its a big difference to seeing them on tv to seeing them in real life ..... they actually were cool with it , they explained a bit about their anatomy how powerful their jaws are even when dead and they cooked some of it and kept some of it to sell, meat , teath etc it was all very gory but man i couldnt get far enough away from it when it was on the boat ... was a proper whimp about the whole thing really.
They then explained how many people are attacked in shore on the beech we were lazing about and that afternoons jet ski's became a wasted deposit.

It's fantastic. I love everything about The Body Shop. I was there last week to buy the body mist and they had some new lotions, one of the ones they had was, I think Wild Flowers, it smelled spectacular, they told me they'll get it as EdT next week, so I'm waiting to buy it :-)

Depends on what day you come. These days it smells of white musk and Dolce Vita, Dior. I love the smell of diesel. Especially blended with salt water, like a vacation on a boat.

So, I have many perfumes, but my no 1, absolute favorite for 10 years has been Amarige. There are rumors that it might be discontinued. And I got confirmed that Givenchy will no longer be sold in Sweden, AT ALL. So I bought 2, just to have :-(

For a second you had me worried. I was starting to think you shaved with a strait razor and puck soap and then finished it off with Pinaud Clubman. That's some old French aftershave. The lilac Vegitol stuff dates back to Napoleon's calvary who wore the stuff.

I actually have no idea what I threw on this morning. My wife has all this cologne because her sister is a buyer and deals with the fragrance industry. I think it was called Chrome of something. She tries all this stuff on me and if she likes it she gets a whole bottle of it.

I like leather and smoke aroma though. You should try Bulgari Black. It has a lot of it in it.

My favorite is Touch by Burberry. Try it, everybody loves it :-)

haha, I provide the smell of leather with my motorcycle jacket in warmer weather, and I might even like a little smoke sometimes too, looks I got the bases covered :thumb:

Depends. I use Nivea aftershave balm a lot. But when I go cologne, usually Polo "Sport" or sometimes Giorgio Armani "Aqua". But the latter is so persistent and strong, even though it's a light citrousy scent. I don't like a lot of cologne though...
