Unemployment for Blacks %14.4
Unemployment for Hispanics %11

The Obama Administration predicted the Unemployment Rate would be %5.6 by now with the Stimulus…it’s actually %8.2

Obama, you and your Economic Team are a bunch of lightweights.

And Liberals, don’t supply any crap about how this is Bush’s fault. That train left the station 2.5 years ago.

No Romney shit either. I’m not a Romney supporter. My boy regrettably didn’t run for the Republican Nomination.

They did no such thing, idiot.

Anyone with half a brain is going to be able to comprehend that a) There is no way to predict the future, and b) even if they did say the Stimulus program was DESIGNED to lower unemployment, there is no way they could have predicted an exact unemployment figure at an exact moment in the future. Like you somehow believed they could magically do.

For you to believe such crap demonstrates yet again, something THE REST OF US ALL KNOW; that you are a foam-at-the-mouth idiot with your tongue firmly rammed up the asshole of Ronald Reagan's dead, maggot-infested corpse.

What is the unemployment rate for White Anglo-Saxon Protestant males? You seem so intent on posting unemployment rates for minorities. Why?

Are you so stupid that you must grasp at ANY straws to try to make some case that Stimulus is not working as well as it was hoped?

Imagine your dreamboat lover McCain and his half-wit bitch-on-a-leash had actually won the 2008 election.......

Obama is an intellectual, who has surrounded himself with people on his cabinet who can actually USE THEIR BRAINS.

And he is still finding it difficult to drag this country out of the recession. Does not help that Republicans are kicking and screaming and doing everything they can to prevent him from doing so.

Why are the Republicans so hell-bent on keeping the economy from recovering?

If the Obama administration is having such a tough time, it is a fact McCain and whatever fools he decided to surround himself with would not have been able to get this country to recover AT ALL.

Obama is doing a fine job with what he inherited when he got elected. A much better job than McClueless could ever have hoped to achieve.

Not only that. It would be just as easy to say Obama is responsible for the 80,000 jobs CREATED IN THE PAST 30 DAYS.

Idiot.

Obama created 80,000 jobs in 30 days ??

Wow, he's been busy and you're still clueless...

Obama sold the stimulus on keeping unemployment "capped at 8%"

It soared to 10% (officially) and has come down very little and very slowly...

But the real figures are over 20% for whites and way more than that for blacks and hispanics...

Many Western economies are bottoming out. It's not a uniquely US situation.

Seems we have to wait for more demand to be created in world economies but I really don't see where that is coming from.....

I really have to give the Republicans credit....

They've done everything in their power in the last 3 1/2 years to block every legislation that the Democrats have introduced in an attempt to create jobs and get the economy going....

While at the same time, they go stomping to their base spewing how bad a job Obama is going... Of course, their base are either too ignorant to care about what is happening in the Congress for the actual reasons why the economy isn't doing better, or simply are anti-anything-Obama, and they're lapping all of the bullshit rhetoric up like a puppy dog.....

It's a brilliant strategy, taking advantage of the intellectually ignorant, and the blatant racists in one clean swoop to continue to keep getting elected into office.....

That's why I'm neither, it's a game of idiots in power and idiot spectators holding their hands out for crumbs...

It's not the president's job to create jobs...

Take Bobby Jindal for instance...

He's done a great job of attracting companies and businesses by making it financially worthwhile for them to do so...

Small businesses create jobs, and the regular citizens of the US create jobs, and they probably create between 80 - 85 percent of jobs. The uber wealthy and majority corporations don't create the majority of jobs. That's why the war on the middle class by the right wing and those who want more control has worked and why there are less jobs out there but more money than ever at the top of the chain. All of the fools bought into the bs sold them over them over the last thirty years.

First of all, you shouldn't call your liberal base "intellectually ignorant, and the blatant racists." It's my job to do that.

VB, you're a straight up guy so I can't tell here whether you're lying or just not too knowledgeable on the subject.

Republicans are SUPPOSED to oppose things they don't agree with your boy Barry about.

Why don't you research the number of Jobs Bills and Initiatives passed by the Republican-controlled House that were shelved by Dumbass Harry Reid. Then we'll have a little discussion about political obstruction.

No, they're not supposed to blindly oppose anything. They're supposed to work with the opposition in order to hammer out legislation more to their liking. That's how things used to work...

There's a big difference between basic opposition and a total commitment to any sort of compromise, with the American people as the victims....

Of course, when the Dems opposed anything that Dubya wanted, they were called un-American or unpatriotic, but I guess that's different, huh ?

Pure bullshit. Obama for the first 2 yrs. had a Demo controlled congress and decided to shove a fucked up and unpopular health care law down American's throats instead of working on the economy. Now that the country has the highest unemployment since the great depression happening, Obama and the rest of the Demo's want to continue to blame the past administration and now with the Supreme Court ruling Tax the fuck out of the people even more.

You guys need to take another civics course....

So what you're saying is, the Repubs didn't use a filibuster rule to stop the bullshit health care tax law because it was drawn up in a back room and passed before anyone else could even read the fucking thing but when the Dems kept proposing a economy/jobs creation package which included even bigger stimulus spending and more money being thrown to entitlement programs, they did. I love how some of you think. Obama said himself if he couldn't get the unemployment back down to under 6% he should be accountable and only be a one term president, but since he doesn't take the blame for anything, go figure. Just yesterday, the new unemployment data came out and once again it was a dismal month with only 84K new jobs created and Obama saying, that is a great thing, even though a 150k to 200k new jobs a month is what is needed for this country to be heading in the right direction. So i guess what Dems want is another huge stimulus package that will put us even more in debt with China that will have the same affect the first one did. How are all those shovel ready green jobs going? What a joke this administration and all the far left Demo goons are. Romney may not be the best choice for President but in my opinion he is stratosphere better than the Socialist dipshit Obama.

Let's take a look at this so called "Demoncratic SuperMajority" that supposedly existed in the Senate.

First of all, there never really was 60 actual Demoncratic votes. That 60 included 2 independents. Bernie Sanders, who IS a reliable vote for decent legislation, and Joe Lieberman, who is NOT always the case.

Then you had Ted Kennedy - out due to illness (brain cancer). Missed many votes while in treatment, and eventually died. Similar story with Robert Byrd, who made some great speeches in favor of the Constitution during the illegal Chimp occupation of the White House, but his old age finally caught up with him, and he had very little participation in actual Senate business the last few years of his life.

Then you had Tim Johnson of South Dakota, who missed several months after having a brain hemorrhage, and then voted like a Repuke half the time even after that. As did Mary Landrieu, Blanche Lincoln, and Ben Nelson. Who unlike Tim, didn't have the excuse of a brain injury to explain their Repuke enabling votes.

And let's not forget Al Franken, who was elected in 2008, but didn't actually take office until July of the following year, because the neocon pussy he defeated in the election kept trying to steal it. Fortunately, once he actually did get into office, Al has been a better Democratic Senator than one might have predicted, considering all the right wing crap he allowed to be aired on his former Air America radio show.

Topping this all off, of course is Spineless Harry Reid, a fucking coward who could stare the Repukes down and MAKE them actually filibuster (and thereby show their stupidity on CSpan cameras and nightly soundbites on the news), and who could have changed the stupid made up non-constitutional rules at the beginning of the 2011 Senate session. Instead, Harry just pisses his Depends at the threat of a filibuster and throws in the towel, even when he has well over 50 votes.

More like RAISE taxes on the unemployed, so they can pay for more tax cuts for the rich pig so-called "job creators" who create jobs like Sammy Hagar creates lyrics.

It is beyond frustrating to see a significant segment USAmericans suffer under the delusion that they are or could be small business owners when in fact that are and visualize cottage businesses.

If USAmericans had health care where they would not have to stay enslaved to a company. The architect that dreams of building ideal homes could. Local economies would bloom with bakers, carpenters, mechanical designers, electricians, electrical designers, and so on; even farming would become possible again. An USAmerica where people really are their own boss.

The cottage industry of health care will not leave either. It will also enhance. People will seek out less important smaller health care needs. It would free up billions of health care dollars that USAmericans could and would spend on well being health care.

Small businesses are not multi-million dollar operations that employ hundreds of people. Small businesses are local merchants, local carpenters, local farmers, local stylist (mechanical and beautification), local artist, and local establishments.

This is why conglomerates are brain-washing a significant segment of USAmerica because the USAmerican slave would find freedom in their communities.

no he didn't.

several of obama's economic advisors said that "a stimulus," NOT the recovery act specifically, could keep the unemployment rate below 8%. they were not talking about the specific bill that was voted on. nor were they speaking after a full assessment of the economy. closer inspection after time gave a better picture of where the economy actually was, as it always does, and it turned out that the economy was far worse than originally projected. so the 8% claim, even IF it was meant to be valid for the recovery act, was predicated on a different recession.
