Best of luck, just did that the last two summers with my boy. Barely missed getting a D1 scholarship, but we're concentrating on him starting classes on Aug. 16th. He still might be able to walk-on, as well.

They split 2 games last nite. He pitch 3 innings in first game let 3 unearned runs. Played left field (3 innings) and SS (6 innings). Went 2-5 in both games.
They play Sunday at 6pm
My son(step son) is #8 Thomas Fortman.

2-5 ain't bad. And the change up to SS means they are all still feeling around for spots. No Worries...GL in tonight's Game!

I have had many trophies and ribbons and such...but one of my Proudest was an award for being an Umpire in LL....

Good Hunting!

He still has his senior year in high school left. Since Feb. He has played like 100 games . Getting a little wore out.

Don't let the coaches burn him out. My arm was never the same after the summer between my sophomore and junior year of high school.

Glad to hear he is swinging the bat well! Good luck to him and the team!

He is done for rest of summer. 1 month off than fall ball. Only like 15 game though. There was a shit load of scouts there this weekend . He played 5 positions and pitched well throwing in the upper 80's .

Pitchers take a beating. I think the most sore I ever got from playing any kind of sport was pitching. I threw my arm out and had to pack it in ice and it just ached like hell. I don't know how the pros do it.
