I lost my youngest sister yesterday. Cause of death any combination of the drugs she was taking for mental illness, pain patch, chemotherapy drugs in her system for treating throat cancer, being pretty overweight, having emphysema and diabetes.

Apparently she lay down to take a nap, and never woke up. She was only 46.

She loved Ronnie James Dio, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, The Doors, and New Age Music.

She had one guitar, a pink Fender Squier Stratocaster and a pink Fender amp.

And no matter that fate had delt her a bad hand, she never complained, was always positive, and was more concerned with the welfare of other people than herself.

First my Dad 10 months ago, now this. Family of 5 now is a family of 3.

Will make it through this, as I have other disasters this year.

Will check in again next week.

Love you all.

Oh, man.

There aren't any words HR.

You're undoubtedly going to feel terrible: allowing yourself to do so is the first stage of getting through this.

My thoughts are with you and I'm terribly sorry for your loss.

My sister died of cystic fybrosis at 24. I was 30 and cried my eyes out for days. I finally felt better when the pastor at her services asked why we were so sad she passed when she did. Did we want here to continue suffering, struggling for her next breath? Then I realized she was in a better place. I still miss her. Condolences.

Aw, Jeez man, I only now stumbled onto this thread. So sorry for your loss. One never really knows what to say at times like this, yet I can tell you that after losing two members of my immediate family, you have to allow for time to heal things. No, will never will be quite the same, yet you will find yourself enduring and getting through.

Hang in there, my dear friend.
