VH1 Classics was showing the BB movie this afternoon when I was at my friend's record shop. Watched a good part of it. Never saw it before. Knew some of the details already, but those guys really were fucked up back in the day. Not only that, yes Brian Wilson IS the Beach Boys, and I don't see how they can rightfully use that name without him in the band.

Mike Love (tool) should tour under the name of something like "A Tribute To The Beach Boys" or whatever.

Personally, even though I recognize some of their work as classic in scope (Good Vibrations is one of the greatest songs of the 1960s), I pretty much can't stand to listen to them.
