These people at these rallies are most likely all volunteers who have been working very hard for close to a year now (maybe longer) for 1 goal. Obama has just as many working on his side. It's gotta really hurt when you spend 4-8-12 hours a day working for one goal only to have it smashed in a matter of 60 minutes. Romney had a chance, a chance, a lead maybe, a chance, OBAMA WINS! lol. watching results it seemed kinda like that. So let these people be bummed for the rest of the night.

The sister in law of one of the top honchos in the mormon church lives in our subdivision. We have a big sub division breakfast every summer where we pick the new officers and settle the business at hand and socialize. Well this Mormon general authority was there at the breakfast and I was shooting the gab with him. We were talking the future of the church. He admitted to me the church was not growing and the only thing that was holding it from decline were the members breeding new members. I said so the missionary program isn't working. He said most people who join the church don't stay in long and have no family pressure to hold them into it. I asked why put such an effort on missionaries and he said that was to keep the young men from leaving the church. He said their research showed if they served a mission at age 19 they usually came back and married a mormon girl and that kept them in the church.

So which brings us to Glenn Beck. Usually only people with some big issues join it, in the US. In third world countries people are trying to make some contacts in the US to better their lives. Usually one of the Mormon converts is a guy who has a drug addicted past and is desperate to find new friends and start a new life. Sometimes they are dating a mormon girl. Usually after they get baptized they become fanatic. They get more gung ho on the religion than the born in church crowd an drive the rest of them crazy. It's true.

Glenn Beck is the poster child for the modern Mormon convert. Why he moved to Texas is he's too crazy even for Utah. LOL!

You know Mormon theology better than most people but the 1/3 of heaven that were cast out never got physical bodies. Satan and the 1/3 who followed him never received physical bodies but are evil spirits trying to temp man and destroy anything good due to their jealousy. Black people would be included in the 2/3 of the people who got physical bodies. Mormon Docrine says Africans are the direct decendants of Cain.

In the 1970's the church started to get a lot of flack for it's views of black people. The civil rights movement made it more difficult to exclude black people and the BYU athletic teams were being picketed and protested against. Also, the church was sending missionaries to parts of the world that had mostly black people. It's kind of a waste to preach the gosphel to people you won't give priesthood authority to.
