I guess I can agree with that in theory, but it's hard to make a case to do that with one border and not the other, and I hate it being a pain in the ass to get in and out of Canada.

I remember when I made a spontaneous over night trip into Vancouver, crossed the border at about 10 PM, and the Canadian border guards just waved.... didn't even stop me. And the return trip was only slower because of traffic.

That was the first weekend of September 2001. About 9 days before this country became a paranoid fascist state. :(
