Eugene Levy's impression of Floyd The Barber was spot on.

I hate to hijack threads, but I was thinking of old skits that I liked and the debut of CHEVY CHASE came to mind from the Groove tube. I still think this is one of the funniest skits ever. Classic Chevy Chase!

Chevy Chase actually was a musician before he was a comedian. Believe it or not, he was the original drummer for Steely Dan.

Don't think he actually played on any of the records, and I can't fucking stand Steely Dan anyway, but it's an odd bit of trivia in either case.

No shit? That's insane.

In the 1980's Chevy was the man. I loved all the movies. Caddyshack, Fletch, vacation. Though he should have been in Ghostbusters somehow. But man....the guy just aint funny any more. Such a downer to watch him. He tries so hard & his jokes always miss and are plain weak. I don't know what happened. A lot of the old SNL guys that were hilarious at first just suck now.

SCTV is the shit. Been watching a lot of the old clips lately. Makes me sad that John Candy isn't around....he was so damn funny.
