Will the first Orange-American Speaker of the House be re-elected by his teabagging KKKochsucker colleagues, or will they stab him in the back and send him back to his obscure days of quietly passing out checks from Phillip Morris tobacco lobbyists, and drown his sorrows in the nearest bottle :guzzle:

Maybe some people who'd prefer their state not be ignored or denied aid.

"Every day that we don't get this aid are days that we can't help people get back in their homes, get businesses reopened, get our economy really moving in our state again," Christie continued. "It's absolutely disgraceful. This used to be something that was not political. Disaster relief was something that you didn't play games with."

Seriously, well put.

Bullshit...

He's playing politics just like the rest of them...

You don't need a bill full of pork to get emergency money to an area...

it's ALL smoke and mirrors politics as usual...

Kinda like how Piyush made a big public show of refusing the stimulus money, and then used Federal money to fix the bridges and levees, right?

No, he didn't go on national TV and bitch and complain...

And he used the money exactly as it was allocated...

If ever there were a time to go on TV and bitch and complain, it's right now.

But you go ahead and pad your post count.

Boner is a hapless, drunken, good-old-boy with off-shore millions in the bank.

He'll get reelected easily.

Apparently Boner's margin of "victory" here was very narrow. He ended up with just two votes more than the required number to elect. As opposed to the unanimous Repuke support he had in January 2011.

No wonder he was crying in his acceptance speech...

This is not unusual.

Pelosi, in her last election to Speaker in 2008, had 19 Democrats defect and not vote for her. These people always know how everyone is going to vote anyway. Boehner knew he had enough votes.

Pelosi wasn't too popular either.

I think they should try a man in the post next time.

Pelosi probably lost votes because she took Chimpeachment "off the table". http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/teufel/d085.gif
