If that's the case, they should have saved the money and used Google Image. Florida is fairly uniform in it's non-diversity: You have condos on the beach, a shopping district a few miles west, followed by cheap housing, auto dealerships, a bunch of strip malls, middle-class housing (with more strip malls), bigger malls, then swampland. Any sort of tactical training could be achieved by watching an old Miami Vice rerun.

When I was working at the Buffalo Airport around October 2001, about eight AH-1S "Huey" Cobra gunships took off!

That's why the exercise took place at the abandoned hotel location. The only people withing 5 miles of the place were octogenarian retirees, whose main weapon of choice is the condo association, a group far more terrifying than AL-Qaeda could ever be.

Sounds like many of you don't live near active training bases.

I'm about 45 miles from Little Rock Air Force base. They are home for most C-130 combat training. They fly all the time and occasionally will do low fly-overs near the lake I live by. Sometimes they work with helicopter groups and fighter jets for combined training operations. Pretty cool stuff to see them in action...

I live near Lowery Air National Guard base, the Air Force Academy and Fort Carson which is one of the largest U.S. Army bases in the country. I've seen military helicopters before, usually in Colorado Springs where you can see/hear them at all hours day or night but the ones I've seen there did have military insignias on them, these ones did not

The Military often flies and trains in places one might not expect them, and that includes reservists and Air Guardsmen doing their "drill". When I was in the Army on leave, I'm about 75% sure a Stealth Fighter flew over my parents house before the F-117 was generally known and made famous by the First Gulf War. I live about 30 miles south of a sleepy, but yet useful ANG station/secondary airport at Niagara Falls, NY with a very long runway to accommodate 747's even though nothing near that big flies out of there. It doesn't mean that "they're out there." It means you may live near terrain favorable to training. One of my brothers social circle of friends worked in what I'm am fairly sure is a secret Army aviation wing with special choppers. He never talks about it, but I deduced it just by overhearing some of what he did with testing and often did it in various climates. It's been going on since at least WWII, yet the conspiracy minded keep picking the latest event as some sort of watershed of knowledge...

I think the core of Alex's business is selling videos that deal with the latest crisis he's promoting on his webcast. Then he does money bombs all the time and takes donations. Then he's tied into the Coast to Coast AM circuit where you have the same gang of characters revolving on that show. Interesting they all preach fear porn and have something to sell you.

When talking with other fly fisherman in the canyon many claim they have served and suspect the reason for military helicopters being there are "for training supposes in mountainous terrain much like that of Afghanistan." which makes sense. The only problem is they're fucking loud, so they scare the shit out of the wildlife creating all these mini-like sonic booms that echo off the mountain walls when they rise up out of nowhere and fly off in these weird formations.

Where i fish in northumberland its next to a national park that is partially used by the uk military for exercises , the reservoir is in a bit of a valley and must be on some route for the air force to train on .Every time Ive been up there the jets come flying down really low , you can see pilots and shit ..incredible noise.

I was out in the desert in western Idaho and there was an Apache helicopter just hovering over a small ridge. They probably were practicing ambushing tanks and using the ridge as cover. What amazed me is how quiet it was. I didn't notice it until I was about 100 yards away and then I could hear it.
