I have to wonder what time of day was this filmed?

There are portions of downtown SF that are totally devoid of people for this filming and it's daylight out. In areas that are never devoid of people any time day or night. Plus not even a spectator behind the barriers... Something seems oddly out of place. Especially the Hyde St cable car scene...

I believe it was an early Sunday morning with the police blocking off the entire section of the city...

He managed to make a front wheel drive econo box halfway cool. I've never seen Lombard Street completely empty of cars. It always has tourist fucks driving down it.

I think it's AWD.

I'm just happy to go fast in a straight line...Mercedes won't let me shut the yaw sensor off, so no donuts for me.

Probably has a millimeter of rubber left on the tires after that ride!

Makes you wonder how many 911 calls they got... especially all the pissed off people getting woken up by some jackass spinning 360 burnouts in the street at that hour of the morning!!

Did they block off the bridge too? I guess it could have shut down for 10-15 minutes. but what a traffic nightmare that would have caused.

I would like to take some driving lessons from him.

Meanwhile in Oakland...

Zing!

Zing used to live in SF and he doesn't know what's more incredible, the dude's driving or the lack of people.

Obviously Sunday morning.

What is really awesome (if true) was turning a sub-compact car like that into a fire-breathing 650 HP monster like that.

It is. A very highly modified Fiesta they don't offer at the dealership, or else I'd goddamned buy one! Hope they make an ST version though...

Are you kidding Nick..?

Ford Fiesta..? Those things look worse than the old Ford Pintos!!

Maybe I am...now I see it said Fiesta at the beginning, but then had a Focus ad at the end.

The Fiesta is far from the Pinto. It's a highly rated little car. The American version of the Fiesta is going to have nearly 200-HP in a very small car!

There's hot rods... then there's souped up compact cars with irritating exhaust noise... I'll stay old school.

I saw one of those new cars today called a "Charger" in a parking lot. Brand new.

It is NOT a Charger. it is a pussy imitation. 327 HP? That is not a muscle car.

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

One of my friends is also my mechanic. I stopped by his shop today, and he has built a Chevy engine......700 HP.

He does not yet know what car he is going to put it in. Whatever car it goes in, THAT will be a muscle car.

While I agree with you that the Dodge kinda sucks, I bet that 327 HP blows the doors off of the 'classic' Charger.

I would not doubt it. Certainly with the computerized real-time engine-tuning technology they have these days.

Back in the late 80s, I had the opportunity to buy a 1972 Charger SE with a 440 racing engine in it for $3,000.

I did not have that kind of bread.

These days to get one in decent condition would cost WAY more than what I have.

And my taste in vehicles has changed. A muscle car is not my priority.
