The extremes of this nonsense shed light on the stuff that we forget to question day to day though.

What is the difference between asking for a million or for your mums cancer to go away?

All prayer for stuff is frankly ridiculous.

If there is no invisible sky daddy then you are wasting his time and if there is, how dare you question his judgement.

And even if it were possible that he could change his mind when you pray how come he doesn't?

Why aren't there millions of cases of people being miraculously cured by all this prayer?

It basically says in the Bible that prayer alone will not get you shit.

You can sit there all you want in a room praying for money to fall from the sky, or get your anal cancer healed or whatever and it will NOT happen.

You have to take ACTION. The biblical definition of "believing" means you have to believe enough in something to take action. The old saying about Man moving mountains comes to mind.

But the same is true if there were no God or no Bible or religion.

Sitting around wishing for something will not make it happen.
